Bed and breakfast 15 mins from the Champs Elysées

We (daughter and father) were welcomed in a beautiful penthouse. Friendly owners. View from the bedroom to the Eiffel Tower! At night, very quiet, very quiet location. 3 minutes walk from the Metro. Reason again to go back. Naomi and Joost

I felt comfortable with Catherine. The whole family was friendly and nice to me. I've always had a good breakfast. The room had. One big bed with nice linens and all to myself for myself I can recommend for each. I'll come back.

Hello! With the neighborhood, I was very pleased, it was clean and tidy and the family of Madame Chatherine made me feel very welcome and looked after. Breakfast was very good and if I had other worries or troubles, was always helped me. Thus, the family and the property has contributed significantly to the success of my first trip to Paris. Catherine was delightful and was only too eager to help us... even rustling up a quick pasta dish for my hungry 8 year old when I arrived which was well appreciated. We were immersed in french conversation so this is a great option for anyone wanting to brush up their French conversation skills .. even my daughter was speaking French by the time she left. However, there were a couple of things that i had not expected. Here, you are living with a family with strict house rules (and a bathroom the other side of the house) which although gives you the local touch and local support does come at the price of your own intimacy and flexibility. Showers were not allowed after 11 and at night we were expected to use another toilet. I also read on the instructions inside the door that we could not use the fridge ... we didn-t need too .... but i did come with the idea that the kitchen (and use of kitchen) was included. Maybe I misread something. The main question i did raise was how the B & B could possibly be 15 mins from the Champs Elysees? We were 5 minutes from the metro (very easy) but the metro took over 20 minutes to the Champs Elysees station ... the quickest we seemed to be able to do it in was half an hour. The area around the house doesn't have much to offer so everything really has to be done in town. However, the house has the most wonderful roof garden and terrace and would be a lovely place to relax (with kids) in the summer (the question is would one be able to put a cold bottle of wine to chill in the fridge?). Catherine and her family were delightful though ... great for those wanting to practice their French!

What compliments do! In fact, it was my first stay at someone (I had then known as hotels) and I spent 11 days in exceptional Catherine. It is a sweet and engaging host who is there for you and who is interested in your well-being. The room is spotless. The bed is comfortable. the sheets are clean and changed regularly. The room is just as impeccable as the room. The towels are changed, too, regularly. Breakfast is served according to itself, it is very good and plentiful. You'll understand: I felt good at Catherine and I highly recommend Catherine. Big hugs to you, Catherine and thank you for everything!

My stay here lasted two nights. My first B & B's I liked. Night's sleep, a great breakfast and attention to your privacy. 20 minutes from the center by metro. That the apartment is not exactly in the center was attacked me real bad. In the apartment 2 cats and a dog that excited me after two days came to greet happy. A very quiet room, spacious enough, even with a computer that did not need me. A separate bathroom, everything very clean. Catherine has spontaneously helped me with finding the road in Paris, all in all a great experience! Merci Catherine!
