Walking in the area one can wander through the famous historic triangle of Athens defined by Plaka, Thision and Psyri. Ancient temples, old mansions, some well-preserved others worn down, Byzantine churches, mosques and other monuments are evidence of the different civilizations that prevailed over the years. The area is also packed with traditional taverns, cozy cafes, bars, small boutiques and tourist shops.
