This spacious and modern apartment, which lies in the 3rd floor of a monumental canal house from the XVII century, has a tremendous view over the Amstel River.
My townhouse is an old half-timbered house which has recently been completely refurbished and is composed of a big master bedroom with a double king sized bed, an adjacent japanese style bedroom with dressing room, a fully-equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower and toilet and a spacious living room which can be used as a second double bed room.
The apartment is completely separated from the owners of the home that live in the 1st and 2nd floor and has a direct access over the staircase from the ground floor.
This of the most exciting part of the centre of Amsterdam, next door with the theatres Kleine Komedie (Small Theatre) and only 5 minutes walking of the Stopera (musical theatre) and the intense city (night)life of Rembrandt Plein (Rembrandt Square), just across the bridge.
Also it's an absolute delight to visit (a 5 minutes' walk) the very special market at Waterloo Plein (Waterloo Square), the market and the many bars and restaurants at Nieuwmarkt (Newmarket, a 7 minutes' walk), and wich is also nearby the very exiting Wallen (Red light district).
Due to is very central location you have all the commodities around such as tram lines (4, 9, 14, 16, 24, 25), bus lines (355, 357, 359, 361, 363), supermarkets, restaurants, bars, etc as well as lots of tourist and cultural spots such as the “Kleine Komedie Theather” and the Rembrandt Square. Due to its perfect location close to the Amsterdam Dam, however, you can reach anything a heart desires within walking distance.
If you are coming by car we can guaranty you the possibility to use a parking lot with low fees (8 euro per day maximum 4 days), including tram/bus/metro tickets.
