This cosy and quiet located apartment Alfama II is the neighbour apartment of Alfama I apartment. The apartment is located on the top floor, penthouse, of a complete restored house from the 1720′s in the very heart of Alfama quarter. The apartment consists of an open space with a comfortable kitchen plus dining area and ‘relaxing’ area. There is also a classy bathroom with a big shower. The mezzanine above which allows for ample and comfortable sleeping. On the mezzanine you will find a bed with an comfortable mattress 1.60 x 2.00m (which in fact consists of two mattresses of 80cm with a mattress pad on the top- the matresses can be separated if you wish).
You get to the mezzanine by a mobile staircase/ladder. Should you prefer not to climb the ladder you can choose to sleep on the comfortable sofa bed on lower floor. In the living room window there is a small veranda which faces an old typical Alfama patio. The kitchen and the bathroom are tiled, whereas living- bedroom has fine polished wooden floors. The apartment has been completely restored in 2009.
When you leave the apartment you enter into Lisbon’s unique architecture beauty with small alleys, old houses and traditional shops, restaurants and cafes. The famous Alfama quarter not only starts in front of your door – you are in the middle of it!
