We are located in the historical center of Rome, in the lovely Celio area, 250 meters from the Colosseum and the Roman Forum.
This is one of the oldest neighbourhood in Rome, so it is also one of the most genuine and historical. This area is rich in historical buildings especially around the Via Appia Antica.
The B&B has two rooms: one for the hosts and their beautiful cats, the other one reserved for guests.
The room is very bright and comprises living room with sofa, coffee table and a bedroom loft, comfortable day and night. The bathroom is located downstairs.
Breakfast will be served in your room.
Centrally located, just steps from the house there are restaurants and shops, parks and places of historical interest such as: the Colosseum, Foro Romano, Piazza Venezia and the Basilica of San Giovanni and San Clemente.
We have just returned from a wonderful stay in Rome. The B & B to Lorenzo and Carlos has pleased us very well. Comfortable, cozy room, good bed, good shower and a very pleasant atmosphere. Very relaxed. We are well helped when our suitcase had not arrived. The breakfast is simple, two packaged croissants, coffee / tea, juice and milk choice. The cats walking in and out, which we found very nice. Furthermore, we could easily go our own way. The neighborhood is nice, lively, "you can still grab a cocktail to do some day evening 'by taking' and you are among the Italians. In short, we believe it is highly recommended for anyone who wants to visit Rome and want to feel a bit. Home
+: a very good location, it was great to see the Colosseum two times a day, we liked the dog and the cats, a comfortable bed, a couch to sit on, great owners, very helpful, a kitchen where you can eat your breakfast (bring your own bread) and plan your day in Rome.
-: the shower was a bit small, and the warm water was sometimes not available, also there is only one toilet, (which was only occupied for a few minutes when i wanted to get in.)
For us the room was perfect, after strolling through Rome for a whole day it's nice to sit down on the couch and to go through the day with a good glass of wine. It was comfortable and clean.
.. and not only it's a remarkable and enchanting room, it's owners, Lorenzo and Carlos, are also worth mentioning. They're kind, helping with all kind of information. We even could leave our bags at Carlos' shop, where you can get good wines and other south european delicacies, after checking out.
It's situated perfect to start exploring the city of Rome. The colosseo is at the end of the street (300 metres) and the Metro a bit further (700 metres). I can recommend this B&B to everyone.
We spent for nights in the apartment and really recommend it to everyone looking for a super central location in Rome.
You get their big room with plenty of space including couch, big table and messanine sleeping-area. The guys are really friendly and helpful. They own a nice wine shop across the street, so you know where to find them.
Be aware you share a bathroom and there are 2 cats in the apartment as well. We did not mind any of this and had a great time, especially because of the extremely central location near to the Colloseum in a very cool part of Rome with local stores and restaurants nearby.
Dear all, we stayed in a very nice place in a lovely area in Rome. The area was like a little village in the big city, the house was run by two very helpful hosts. Their knowledge of the public transport was perfect, and one of the owners has a little, very good wineshop just opposite the appartemen! A clean, cosy, quiet and not very expensive place nearby all places you want to visit or wander about: what more can you wish for. Bart & Carlien, from Amsterdam.
Week 12 end April 15, 2013. ideally located 200m from the Colosseum, this room is very pretty, the breakfast gave us a great welcome, never short of advice. and very discreet. In addition, you can enjoy the nearby restaurants, including El bocconcino via Ostilia which is very good. I recommend it more, you can take full advantage of the coliseum at night which offers a very good show. Very close to the city center that can walk, 200m from the underground room
We enjoyed our stay very much. Location is at walking distance of the colleseum and other archeological sites. Clean bathroom and nice apartment with elevated bedroom very romantic.
Carlos & Lorenzo, our hosts were very friendly, charming and discreet. The room is nicely decorated and the bed bequem.Die apartment with a glorious ideal location, so that Rome can be conquered on foot! Carlos Lorenzo and our hosts were very welcoming, charming and discreet. Very good tips for organizing visits and good addresses. They practice three languages (English, Spanish and of course Italian).
