Private Room in Historical Flat

This place S.U.C.K.S. the cat was jumping on my bed, the "fantastic sea view" on the bosperus is only visible out of a room where there is always someone sitting, the room were you sleep has no windows - 0 points out of 10... :-(

Staying with Alanur was great. She was very welcoming and happy to have a guest on her place. Alanur was helpful and knoweladgbe about things to do in Istanbul. Her place is in a great location and very close (1 minutes walk)to public transport which makes getting around both cheap and easy. The view from her place is incredible and really is something. Alanur was friendly and helpful throughout my stay and even beyond my stay lending me her coat as I went ona 3 day tour during the winter time in which I was a little unprepared and underpacked for the cold. I would highly recommend staying with Alanur both for her place and as she is a great host and if I ever visit Istanbul again I will be sure to stay with Alanur again.

I recomande this accomodation with great views, warm and friendly hostess white cat. The advantage of the apartment is its proximity to Kabatacs and calm.

Alanur was a friendly and helpful host. From the apartment all the city's attractions are within easy reach.

Fantastic location and so easy to find. I was a single traveller and first time to Istanbul. The room was great and really comfortable. Alanur is very lovely and a wonderful host.

Alanur is a lovely host - I was travelling alone, and it was a real pleasure to be in a place that was so welcoming. Both Alanur and her assistant Fahid went out of their way to help. They both always had a smile. Alanur showed me places of interest too and was very generous with her time. The flat itself is in a great place, near both the metro and ferries so brilliant for getting about more-or-less anywhere. There are shops, some cafes/restaurants very close by so it was easy to buy food (she let me have full use of the fridge) and to eat out close by. The room is as described in previous reviews. The views from the living room are amazing, and I was always welcome to sit there in the evenings. I had a lovely time - thanks.

I can only say positive comments about Alanur and her associate Fatih. They greatly helped to make my stay a most positive trip. They hosted me beyond the call of duty.Her apartment does require steps to reach the elevator, but the daily exercise didn't hurt. Her friendly smile and upbeat attitude appeared daily. The view is indiscribably fantastic and the location was perfect for transportation to all the major attractions. This apartment is perfect for a single traveler. A really beautiful flat with a lovely host. The room itself is OK, except that there really isn't anywhere to store your clothes, so you will be literally living out of your bag. The room itself is used as a storage room, although it has a wardrobe, but which is not for personal use. Alanur was lovely enough to let me make use of some of her possessions outside of the room, which was very helpful, as it was something she didn't have to do. The flat is used as an office/living space so do bear this in mind. Also, I personally found it very difficult to locate a nearby supermarket, so I had to go out to eat for every meal. There wasn't anywhere close by where I could buy breakfast cereal for example. Also, Alanur has a couple of cats who are harmless and well trained, but the dodgy nature of the door to the room means that they might creep in when you are not there. So just bear this in mind.
