Description
A large carriage is redesigned as a hotel room and located on a farm just outside Amsterdam. A unique way to become familiar with the life on a farm. A fresh farmer’s breakfast in the morning during the day you experience living on a farm and you can help the farmer with his work.
B&B Biest-Stro can offer you this arrangement in a very surpising environment. The room is located in a large wagon on a nearby farm (see the picture).
The farmer and his son are milking a herd of 600 sheep twice a day and they are making cheese and yoghurt of het sheepsmilk. They appriciate it when you can help them milking or feeding the animals and they are very wiling to tell you about the life and work on the farm. Especially for children the stay will be an unforgettable experience.l
The room has a double bed and the possibility of two extra fieldbeds for children. In the wagen is a kitchen, a fridge, coffee and tea machines, heating and it has electricity. It is competely ready for use, with towels and bedding included. The size of the wagon is 9mx2,5m. Outside you can sit under the tarp (a tent roof) on the garden chairs and tables.
The bathroom is outside the wagon at the farmhouse.

We had a great time on the farm is very well located. We sauntered with bicycles provided in the waterland and Amsterdam which is very close. Breakfast with farm products is excellent. The trailer is very well decorated inside but shame it is next to a pile of tires. The kids loved spending time with animals.

Thanks to Alex and Melanie for uncomplicated stay. Very nice area and yet so close to the city. The shepherd car is as described. Small kitchen, refrigerator, bicycles and a small heating. Before dogs should not be afraid because the two are allowed to walk around freely. The ample breakfast will be brought to the car early. Coffee or tea (everything available in the car) you have to make yourself. Alex is always approachable for advice. We'll gladly come back :-)

Had wonderful days. Beautiful rural setting on beautiful bike ride from Amsterdam.
The kids thought it was very nice to look at milking the sheep and calves.
Friendly helpful peasant family!

Beautiful small trailer, very idyllic. There are delicacies from the farm for breakfast and the owners are extremely friendly and helpful. With the bikes provided one is in roughly 25 minutes of the main station Amsterdam. The only clue: really getting hold closed remotest and doors or use mosquito nets, otherwise annoys you around with mosquitoes. Otherwise: thoroughly recommended!

The trailer has Ransdorp Géniiiale .... !!!!
2 experiences for the price of one.
On one side, the trailer, bicycles, the countryside and the "small" lunch and AUTHENTIC TRADITIONAL ... !!!!
On the other, Amsterdam, its charm, its canals, its lights and smells ....
The all separated by about 10km, but framed in a sporting spirit (= bike trips, walking tours =).
Thank you to Henk and Alex ;-)
Have a nice trip !!!

Henk is a very friendly host and so was the farmers. But we were surprised to see that the surrounding of the wagon was different from the pictures showed at the Wimdu page. Just outside the door is a little hill of car tiles and 25 mts from the wagon was a dung hill with 100000 flies, many of them came in to the wagon. It was quite chilly at night, the children's beds were extremely uncomfy, there were to many spiders, Mosquitos and flies to make us feel relaxed. The room where we could shower was completely bare, not even a hook to hang your towel while you were having a shower, and it was not the cleanest. Witch also describes the wagon, it was in a need of a deep clean. It could have been ok for a very less price.
