The very large 3 bedroom plus office top floor apartment is full of light and has views all around and a balcony, where it is great to have a sunny meal, read a book or enjoy a sunset cocktail before heading out into Silver Lake, Hollywood, Downtown LA, Echo Park for the nightlife, the food, and the music!

Our home is a 1600 sq ft three bedroom, one bathroom with

MASTER ROOM: Alice in Wonderland themed, king size extremely comfortable bed, linen sheets, a personal desks, it shares the views of the balcony, beautiful light.... really large and airy and clean and.. yummy. Gets amazing light and sun and really is a massive room.

ROOM #2: Sports everything the Master Bedroom has: king size extremely comfortable bed, linen sheets, a personal desks, views to the West, also gets amazing light and sun. The theme of this room is European modern chick. Again very airy and clean and.. yummy.

ROOM #3: Is cozy and comfy with a world theme. It has a queen size extremely comfortable bed, linen sheets, a personal desks, views, also gets amazing light and sun. Beautifully spacious.

EXTRA PEOPLE/BEDS: The couch in the living room transforms into 2 full beds if extra guests need space.

EXPECT: to have a quiet, immaculate, relaxed stay in a truly beautiful, eccentric, artists space. Feel free to entertain and make use of the place.

TRANSPORT: If you need access to public transportation, there are 4 different bus lines that stop within a 5 minute walk from the house. We are within 2 minutes drive of the 101 Freeway and 10 minutes from the 110, 10 and 5 Freeway. We are in the heart of LA and it makes exploring and getting around the city extremely easy. Parking is not included, but there is always plenty available on the street, please do take note of the street cleaning rules. Our neighborhood is extremely safe.

TO DO: Everything is within walking distance or you can hop on one of our bikes and take a 5 min ride to Sunset Junction or Echo Park. Nearby spots which can be reached by foot include the music venue Spaceland, The Echoplex (also for live music), LAMILL café (incredible if a bit pricey), Café Tropical (popular with locals), LOCAL (a great restaurant for vegans and the gluten intolerant folks), Café Phở (best pho in all of Los Angeles, and we have tried many), Rambutan Thai & It's Thai (our 2 favorite Thai restaurants in LA) and Food Lab (just a great, easy cafe with excellent food and a thriving catering business) to name just a few. Best yoga in the neighborhood is a 5 min walk away, Urth Yoga! Silver Lake Reservoir is 10 min walk away and is great for jogging, it's especially beautiful early in the morning or for sunset. Sunset Junction with many more great cafes, shops and the Farmer's Market on Tuesday and Saturdays can be reached by 15 min walk, short bike ride, public transport or a short car ride. Hollywood or Downtown are 10 min away by car.

House rules

WHAT'S FREE:
We are a smoke free and shoe free home. Non-smoking guests only please! Smoking will result in the loss of deposit. Since the apartment is on the top floor with beautiful but loud wood floors we adhere to a strict no shoe policy. We and our neighbors below would greatly appreciate it if everyone please take off their shoes at the top of the stairs and walk lightly.

ENTERTAINING:
Small dinner parties are welcomed and encouraged. However, absolutely NO parties or large gatherings are permitted without prior consent from us. (Doing so will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.)

KITCHEN:
Please note that everything is dishwasher safe EXCEPT:
• bamboo chopping boards
• Global knives
• Cast iron pans and skillet

HELP YOURSELF:
Please feel free to use any of the spices, condiments, oils, or dry goods in the kitchen. However, if you use something up, please replace it or let us know what needs to be replaced.

OFF LIMITS:
The following areas are not included in the rental and should be considered off-limits:
• closet in the hallway and next to the balcony
• Master bedroom closet unless it has been emptied for long rental.

CHORES:
While we are away, we would appreciate you taking over a couple chores.
1. Trash is downstairs in front of the apartment. When you stay more than a couple of days please take it down. We recycle!
2. Watering the plants. The only need water 2 times per week.

ACCIDENTS:
We understand that accidents happen, please notify us of any items that may have been lost or damaged during your stay.

KEEP IN TOUCH:

CHECKING OUT:
Before checking out, the house should be restored to the condition in which you found it; kitchen counters cleared, dishes should be put in dishwasher, trash should be taken out and put in appropriate bins, and used linens should be removed and placed on top of the washer.
Please just leave the place as you find it. Don’t burn it down or steal anything. Don’t be gross! The usual stuff. :)
