Quietly situated in Edinburgh - comfortable double room with private bathroom

We highly recommend this address because we were very well received in a beautiful house, perfect with very caring people. Jane spoke a little French and my few words of English we managed to understand each other. The location is ideal for 1 minute from the bus stop that takes you directly to the old town in about twenty minutes. Tom, the husband of Jane, very discreet and also very good musician and if you ask him he will be pleased to listen to the CD he composed and recorded. My favorite song is "the last sailor man." Great, congratulations Tom! So a good place to broadcast.

Jane and Tom are really lovelly. It was a pleasure to get to know them. It is a nice place to stay and we had great evenings with much fun. We would come back at any time. It is no problem to have a breakfast there, you just have to do it on your own. The room is very fine and comfortable, like the whole house. Tom plays great the guitar and Jane is the best woman you can talk to. She even understands our broken english. Thanks for all :-)

What happiness! Jane and Tom are so cute! The house is spacious, bright, quiet and spotless. Jane and Tom make every effort so that we feel comfortable, "at home". We had a wonderful time thanks to them that are incredibly kind and if you love music, Tom is an excellent musician and Jane accompanying the song has a sublime voice. Thank you again for a wonderful stay. In addition, the bus is close to direct access to the city center.

The house is breath taking. It's very very comfortable. It's got two georgeous bed rooms and a bath room just next to them. It's really clean and tidy. Jane and Tom; the hosts; were really nice to us. They were very friendly and helpful. They made us feel like we were staying in our own home. Jane even took us to the nearby shops for our lil' shopping in the middle of the night which was so very sweet of her. We had a wonderful time. Even though it was a short stay we really enjoyed the time we spent with Jane and Tom.

The house is of the typical modern style, situated about 25-30 minutes from the heart of old Edinburgh via the local bus service: Lothian buses No.30, cost £1.40single/£3.50daypass at-time-of-writing. There is also a convenient local shopping mall just off the top of the street with approx 30 outlets including cafes... Jane & Tom were wonderful hosts, they made us feel more like "old friends" than just "unknown strangers" from the moment we walked in the door... The house is newly refurbished and is in all honesty, luxury - especially their very fancy living room, kitchen and conservatory! My wife and I had a delightful stay and would highly recommend this property and the hosts upmost courtesy and conversation.

Jane and Tom are two very friendly and nice. We were happy with them and it was a great experience. Their house is very nice but it is not in the city center. Highly recommend this experience for anyone who would like to visit this beautiful city!

Jane is a very nice, helpful and generous host. She and her husband make you feel like a member of the family. We really had fun talking about different topics and if you are interested in music – this is the place to stay, because both of them are musicians!! The accommodation is easily reached by bus. We highly recommend it, specially because of this great hospitality!
