Transport link: 3 min walk from the Apartment to 2 different Train lines ( DLR and Overground), various buses that will take you straight to Regent street ( Bus No. 15) and of course there is Boris Bike Hire right next door!

Bank (inner city) : 1 stop
Stratford olympics: ~15min DLR ride
Shoreditch, Spitalfields = nightlife: 1 stop to get to Shoredich High Street!
Local Amenities
A ~15 minute walk, or ~5 min bike ride will take you to the gorgeous St. Katharine Docks with beautiful chain restaurants such as Zizzi, Strada, Ping Pong, Cafe Rouge, Prohibition, Dickens Inn and Starbucks x 2.
The fantastic Mahogany Bar (one of the coolest bars in London, patronised by numerous celebrities and trendy types) is close by. Wilton's with some excellent productions.

Also, there is shadwell basin/canal walk. You can opt for a scenic walk/bike ride from Shadwell all the way to Tower Bridge - very pretty with lots of ducks and swans! Alternatively, you ride the other way towards Limehouse/canary Warf along the Thames!
