The property is in a great location for London centre. Liverpool Street Station is 1 minute away which makes getting about excellent. Coach to Stansted Airport is also at end of street. When arriving at the apartment I was left standing around for a while as no details had been provided of where i was to meet the host. Eventually Marcos assistant arrived after 30 minutes waiting and showed me to the apartment. The entrance way is the same entrance which is used by the Indian restaurant next door so a lot refuse etc is left in the hallway, the carpet on the stairs is in need of replacing as this is communal access with the indian restaurant it is extremely grubby. When I got into the apartment the room I was booked into had not been vacated by the previous guest and a note left for the agent of when they would vacate. Marcos assistant got this sorted out but I was asked to come back in an hour so that the cleaner could clean the room etc. I was able to leave my bag but was a bit anxious that the previous guest could return and have access to my personal belonging. I retunred a time later the room was cleaned and everything was tidy. The bed was extremely comfortable, some minor refurbishments could increase the standard of the property but for the price it is very good, on sunday morning the petticoat lane market is in the street beside which has great bargains and souvenirs. If I was returning to London I would easily rent another room in the property as I know now what the property is like and for the price it is quite good.
The floor was right in the center, and we had a blast. Although we arrived very late, we were greeted with no problem. The room was great and we are delighted with the visit. Next time do not hesitate to have this room :) Thank you for everything. A greeting. Lucia and Alexs
I really enjoyed my stay. The room was very spacious and clean(ed often), the appartement small but convenient. The kitchen is well equiped, all you need is there! The only downside to this place is that the walls are really thin, you can hear your neighbours to clearly. But, the location makes up for much, right next to Spitalfield Market and almost on the (every sunday) famous petticoat market. And please try the great Indian Restaurant located next door, it food is fantastic! Also nice: the appartement is located only 1 minute from Liverpoolstreet Station, a major transport hub with both trains and tubes. Marcos and his staff are really great, you can contact them very easily. I really recommend this place if you are looking for a nice and not so expensive place in down town London.
We spent a night at Marcos Saturday to Sunday, March 31. It was great. The location is ideal: 15m Metro liverpool street in the heart of the city. The room was as pictured, clean and large enough. Heating ok. Nickel bathroom: the water heater has been changed as well as the shower. And what could be more convenient than having a kitchen available: the tesco is a short walk to shopping. The kitchen is very well equipped. In short, nothing to complain about.
Perfectly okay price / performance. Simple, accurate, clean. Really nothing to complain about. No special comfort, but all you need if you're just in East London. Centrally located (1 minute from Liverpool Street).
This room is located in a very good area : only one minute away from the underground metrostation and surrounded by great restaurants and pubs. You should really discover the neighbourhood when you're staying at this place, there are some great vintage and alternative stores around the corner! The room was clean and the shared rooms were cleaned every day. Marcoz is very friendly and we had a lovely stay. Perfect rent for students and young people !!
Contact with Mark was very effective, was at the time the room was free of other tenants who were occupying. He showed us the house, explained how everything worked and gave us the keys. Accommodation is a very good choice considering what it cost (less than 60 euros per night double room), the location (right next to Liverpool Street Station, which also buses and trains arrive and go Stansted) and characteristics (kitchen, bathroom, double bedroom with fridge, heating, wifi, very comfortable bed, etc.). We recommend it, except that prices go up!
