Quiet and Comfy apartment in Centre

We had the most wonderful stay in this cute apartment for a long weekend. Matteo met us at the apartment and was very polite and kind even though we were a bit late due to getting lost! The apartment was clean and tidy with towels provided and also teas and coffee in the kitchen. The building itself was very traditional and made us feel like we were living like the locals. There is a supermarket less than a minutes walk down the road where we picked up some breakfast and snacks for our stay. We went on a walking tour and were recommended 3 ruin bars as a must see during our visit - one of which is a minutes walk away again. Very cool place to visit and the best thing was that we could not hear a sound from the bar from the apartment! Would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone, thank you Matteo!

Personally I'm very pleased about my stay here. What I liked the most is that you get what you're promised. For a price of 31 euro per night, I expected a decent place but not at all too much comfort and technology. I was completely right in my expectations: + Matteo was a very kind host, giving us advice on the city and taxis and greeting us when we arrived + The house itself is clean for the most part. The bed is not the most comfortable out there, but it does just fine for a couple of nights. The tv is too small to use, I find, but honestly, you're in Budapest! Why would you need to watch the tv in the first place? + In the house there's all sorts of basic stuff concerning food, like sugar, tea and coffee. It's handy that you don't have to buy all these things for a (usually) short stay. - The only thing I didn't like was the noise. Because of the typical style of building (houses concentrated around one shared midsection), there was a lot of noise when someone put music on or flushed a toilet in the house above is. Nevertheless it was something even I could live with - and I have a very sensitive hearing. All in all, I'd give this place 8/10. Price compared to what you get it's definitely something I'd recommend!

We were very pleased with the apartment. There is everything you need and also Matteo was very nice. The location of the apartment is great! You can reach everything very quickly, whether it Andrassy utca, supermarkets or any of the great Ruinpubs. We felt very comfortable and happy to visit Budapest and Matteo's apartment again!

I've been second time in Matteo's apartment and second time a had a great time. Apartment is clean and good located. Maybe equipment is not brand new, but for so cheap price this apartment is a great choice. Matteo, see you next year

Matteo is a fantastic host with a gorgeous apartment in the heart of Budapest! Our flight was a little delayed but Matteo was very accommodating and helpful, meeting us outside the apartment when we arrived. We had a wonderful two-night trip, seeing some of the best bits of Budapest thanks to Matteo's advice upon arrival. The apartment itself was clean, tidy and modern and a pleasure to stay in. From Hero's Square to the Turkish Baths, we spent our entire trip on foot, with all the sights within walking distance for us (even in the snow!). I'd highly recommend staying in this lovely apartment to anyone traveling to Budapest for the first time, if we ever decide to return we'll be sure to book with Matteo again!

A perfect flat located in the deep city centre of Budapest, ten minute walk to the metro station, five minutes walk to the beautiful Andrassy boulevard! A nice place, very cozy, perfect for lovers. Matteo was very arrangeable and efficient! If we come back to Budapest once time (and for sure we will) we'll think of getting the same flat! Thanks a lot to Matteo.

Our stay in Budapest was absolutely lovely. Matteo met us at the apartment and gave us the low down on the place, the neighborhood, and had suggestions about restaurants and night life. The apartment was in a great location, a hip neighborhood - not to mention walking distance from the main train station Keleti, which was a huge plus. Conveniently there was also a supermarket just down the block. A very comfortable stay!
