It is located in the vicinity of the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, the Europa Center and the Zoo. This area is also known as City West.
An historic attraction in the district is Charlottenburg Castle. It is the largest and most impressive palace in Berlin. The large castle park is ideal for a walk. The largest park in the district, however, is the Tiergarten, which is directly adjacent to the Zoo.
The district is well connected to neighboring districts. The U-Bahn lines U1, U3, U7 and U9, and the S-Bahn lines S3, S5, S7, S41, S42 and S75 cross the district.
