Studio with Balcony at Bastille

We expected pauline's studio to be well located but were delighted to find that it overlooks a garden (as well as a terrific rooftop view of paris) which makes it an oasis of calm and a peaceful retreat from the buzzy street life outside her secure complex. You will even find a couple of content rabbits in the garden if you look! It's small, well equipped and good for a couple, bearing in mind that small living spaces are the norm in paris. Pauline was there to meet us with a smile and very willing to help us with anything we needed. The area is terrific for cafes, night life, food markets and is very central. The marais is only a 15-minute walk away and the bastille metro stop is about 7 mins walk. We couldn't have asked for more- and also appreciated pauline's gay-friendly attitude. Pauline is a very friendly and very welcoming, offering a student in Paris finally live the entire time, a little bit of local life. His apartment is not large indeed, but still very functional and very well located. Bastille Metro Station can go almost anywhere and very quickly. My tip for visitors like me who are not very familiar with the metro, download the application "But Too" for iPhone. With this app, you will seem the subway a breeze. Street rocket, apparently well known for its bar is a pleasant and lively street (a little too much can be, depending on tastes). I personally was delighted to find a few steps from the apartment, one of the temples of Gypsy Jazz in Paris: Workshop Charonne. The food not great, but the music is there and that's what counts. To conclude: small but functional apartment in a residence rather massive but very clean and secure, a lovely host and unbeatable prices. Only downside: the bed (rude!) What make you forget the hotel. I recommend.

It was a pleasure to stay in the apartment Pauline.Elle is very nice and everything went well. The apartment is very cute, clean and comfortable. It has a nice view, ca reminds me of Amelie Poulain. The Bastille is great, there are plenty of Bars and Bistro and correspondence metro is very good too. So I would like to rent this apartment again.

Located in the heart of a pleasant neighborhood in a gated, Pauline made us a very warm welcome. The apartment is comfortable and offers a typical Parisian view, for our pleasure.

Very nice little studio. Bathroom, kitchen and living room with sofa-bed (not the most comfortable but good). Lively but the noise does not reach shelter. Owner very nice and good advice.

It was really nice to stay at Pauline´s place! The apartment is perfect for two people and even has a balcony. The area around the apartment is great. Small shops with artcrafts and a lot of bars and restaurants. With Pauline everything was very uncomplicaded and she is very very nice. She waited for us to give us the keys (although we arrived pretty late) and gave us some useful tipps. I would totally recommend staying in her apartment!

We stayed at Pauline's place for 4 days and had a wonderful time. The appartment is small but very cosy and has a good atmosphere. There is a nice balcony with a view over the Parisian roofs and the Sacre Coeur in the distance. It's excellent for a couple or a single traveller, but you will also be able to manage travelling with a toddler. We travelled with our three-year old son and it worked out quite well. The Bastille area, where the appartmenet is situated, is great: lots of café's, restaurants and supermarkets close by.
