The breakfast is included in the price, and its served between 9-11 in our amazing hostel nearby the apartment. At the same time you can enjoy the atmosphere of the hostel and hang out and meet nice people there. Its only 5 minutes to the main and big street of Istanbul, central and easy access to everywhere in the city.just 2 minutes to the Metro station and 5 minutes to Tramway.20 minutes by walk to taksim square and sultamahmet area. Istanbul is the largest city in Turkey and it is the country's economic, cultural, and historical capital. The city's biggest attraction remains its historic center, partially listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, but its cultural and entertainment hub can be found across the city's natural harbor, the Golden Horn, in the Beyoğlu district.
Formally called Constantinople, Istanbul was the capital of the Roman Empire and Europe's wealthiest metropolis, and is now the largest city in Turkey. Here you will find a fabulous city that spans Asia and Europe. In Istanbul you will see how old meets new when you visit the "must-see" historic sites such as the Blue Mosque , one of the most famous monuments in both the Turkish and Islamic worlds.

Reviews for this host's other properties
Very nice and cosy room with a wonderful view!
Great service and very friendly staff!
We stayed for our one week holliday in this room. And we whould do it again.
The included breakfast in the hostel (3 min walk) gives you a good basement for the day. Ercan was realy friendly and the comunication (in english) was great.
Like the descriptions of other users are telling, the view is breathtaking. The room it self is realy charming and the rest of the flat has a simple standard in comparision to german standard. The stareway up to the fifth floor is realy special. It feels a bit like Havana 20 Years ago. After a couple of days it feels like home.
We visited Istanbul in the middle of October 2015. I can imagine that in summertime the room can be very hot.
A nice room with a wonderful view in a big apartment.
I recommend it. Thanks Ercan.
The location is perfect and the place is lovely.
Although we've had unpleasant moment with staff. We were promised early breakfast (we had early flight). When we came there was nothing that looked like breakfast... It would be easier if we they just didn't promise.
The view from the window is stunning enough that I can recommend this stay. Also the location is great and the hostel staff friendly and helpful. The room was clean and even though you shouldn't expect luxury, everything is in good enough shape. More equipment for the shared kitchen would be a good idea. The stairway doesn't look good as others have stated, but it's not a real problem. Although choice for breakfast is not abundant, it's tasty (served in the hostel, which is a short distance away).
Several different rooms from this apartment can be found on wimdu. I got the 15m² one instead of the 25m² I booked, which wasn't a problem for me (in fact I didn't even realize it when I was there, so didn't ask about the reason), but confirming beforehand might be a good idea if you need the space.
Make sure you remember the entry of the house if you plan to come back late, because after the shutters are in front of the closed shops, the street looks quite different.
On the pro-side: The apartment has an amazing view on the Bosporus. It is a pleasure to wake up and go to sleep to this sight. The wooden floors, high ceilings and brick walls are lovely. Martin and the World hostel staff are friendly hosts and always available for quesions. Breakfast in the hostel is alright and a good start into the day.
On the con-side: The staircase of the apartment is rather dodgy and makes you feel relieved when you can close the door behind you. The bathrooms, toilets and towles are just fine but rather suitable for young travelers who don't expect much. Since Istanbul is a noisy city and the walls are paper thin - bring earplugs if you want a good night's sleep.
All in all: Excellent for a short trip to Istanbul on a budget.
The apartment has a very good location and the room was clean. The breakfast at the hostel was good. The other residents were a bit noisy, but bearable. From the house from the outside and the stairwell must not be deterred you look. For young people really recommended.
Instead of a review I'd rather write a few tips, comments or tips that have been not yet or hardly mentioned. Since I have given 5 out of 5 points, it is clear what I think of this room (a dream), and thought of Martin and his colleagues in the hostel (very helpful and friendly).
This room is part of an apartment in the 7 rooms are rented. This can easily happen that you will be awakened by another at 6 clock, because the light in the back of the corridor automatically turns on and passes through the frosted glass of Zimmtür. Who has a light sleeper, may require ear plugs and a lack of sleep.
It was our first time in Turkey and we had to get used to it, that not all used toilet paper to be thrown into the toilet, but in a bucket, which stands next to it. So also in this apartment. It is advisable to bring own paper as an emergency reserve to.
The kitchen has a single pot and only one pan. The electric hob is tiny and outdated. The room is too small to eat there, and uncomfortable. There is (but) a large refrigerator. Most will go eat anyway. I can recommend a Falaffel -lunch who goes to the steep road about 200 high, in a narrow street on the right is.
Breakfast unfortunately only at 9 clock in the hostel (Turkish breakfast). The later, the more full. There are not so many places. Very international, young audience. In addition, a tiny cafe with coffee and cake (delicious).
A supermarket is located on the same street, after about 50Metern left. Good for basic equipment.
You can walk in 15 minutes from the apartment to the Museum of Modern Art (Istanbul Modern). Fantastic location with a café and exciting objects. To get to 10, the groups are about 12 clock. The ticket is valid for the whole day.
I could write more, but that is beyond the scope. But a very important detail I have to get rid of even mark your day, where the entrance is, because at night when all the shops are closed, the front door is closed, and you're running several times to get past it. With feeling also opens this lock.
PS. This room is great, but the room next door, which consists of two rooms, amazing! Have Fun!
Clearly recommendable. Very nice people. Very friendly welcome. Always helpful. We had a proper and comfortable, large room for the family ( couple + little boy ), and with a fantastic view over the Bosporus. Was like cinema. We will come again. Thanks and very best regards, Ute, Felix and Jörg
