The apartment is unkempt; window glass broken, loose tiles etc.. I also found very dirty, greasy stovetops, coffee table dirty, with mold on the bathroom tiles and the joints, behind the toilet, etc.. dirty shower, Apartment very disturbed both by day and night with music and shouting, work in progress. The only positive note, the bed was comfortable. Not recommended!
Sconsigliato!
Sue and Claude were very friendly, both. The studio is not really on the first floor, but overcharged basement (you must descend a staircase). This, and the fact that there is no "fan" in the shower, makes wet asses studio. We stayed a long time (two weeks), so for a short stay, this may not be a problem at all will. The bed is comfortable. I think the studio was not very clean (kitchen, cups etc..) But the price is right, the displacement is great, close to everything, nice neighborhood. Marian and Henny

We had a great stay at this lovely little studio, warm, very comfortable bed, great location in a lively, typical, with a wide choice of eateries and bistros Montmartre nice. Our hosts, Sue and Claude are very warm, listening. We thank them again for their lovely home: even very late at night, Claude was there to greet us with a smile. This is nice. We recommend them.
We much appreciated the studio as well as its location.
Sue behaved very well. She was in contact with us all the time until we got to Paris, by email, she was very flexible with the check-in and check-out time and besides that she transferred us to a better and larger apartment, also in Montmartre, because the Studio in Place du Tertre, Sacré-Coeur that we had hired had been a serious water leak some days before and the repair work was not done for our arrival.
Claude was very kind and nice and there was no problem with our schedule for check-in and check-out time (11:00 p.m. and 05:00 a.m.) Besides he gave us a lot of information about Montmartre, the coolest neighborhood in Paris.
We had a really nice stay. The host are really sweet and helpful. The apartment were perfect for our family.
It's a very nice apartment and the area around is great! We have a lovely stay in Paris and Sue and her team are very nice and helpful!
Perfect !! the host was very helpfull and the appartement couldn´t be in a better place.
This year we are married for 40 years. We want to celebrate this with my childeren.
We looked for months for an appartment with 3 bedrooms and enough space for the 6 of us. Unfortunately we didn't get the appartment we have booked because there was a water damage.
I understand that those things can happen.
That's why we are placed in this appartment on rue the gabrielle.
It is a 2 bedroom appartment. The host said there are beds for 8 people. I don't agree. An adult can not sleep on the beda upstairs. The matrasses are very very thin. And you lie down on a wooden plank.
The sofabed is very very bad. You lie down in a hole and there are stains everywhere. You even can't sit normal on it without getting a pain in the back. The blankets smelss like wet dog and the appartment was not very clean.
Unfortunately the host (Claude/Kloot) was talks very agressive. He was not thinking in solutions. The only thing he said was look at the view.
You must know that in the night my eyes are closed and I really don't care about the view. The only thing I care the is the quallity of my bed.
He also said a couple time that when we don't like it we must pack our bags and go to a hotel.
It was not very nice.
When we asked for another bed we get an air matress that was broken. The host said nothing about a payback for this dissapointing stay.
The possitve thing about this appartment is the view. It's really nice. Maybe for 4 people this appartment is good but certainly not for 8 people.
Really nice flat in a really nice neighbourhood in Paris, I would definitely go there once more.
