2BR Home for 5 near Metro Seoul "Nature Within"

We have just returned from our trip to Seoul. Our accommodation and, Mina our host were fantastic. The house is in such an interesting location, is in really good condition and is really comfortable. Our baby son loved crawling around the underfloor heated rooms. The area is full of great restaurants, shops and cafes. It is only a short walk or even shorter bus ride to reach other sights and the really excellent subway system. Mina was an excellent host, who always communicated well, before and during our trip. She could not have been more helpful. She helped us to and from the airport bus, suggested things for us to see/do. And even ordered takeaway to be delivered for us. I would recommend Mina and this house for anyone wanting to visit Seoul.

"Nature within" is wonderfully situated at the outskirts of Samchong, a young and lively neighbourhood, and yet secluded in a back alley up the hill. The livingroom has a big window that offers a view on a wooded valley in which is a military base.The house is sunny, clean, spacious and well equipped. At three minutes from the house one finds the end of bus number 11, which connects one to the subway system and the main attractions of the center of Seoul. The host, Mina, is a very helpful lady. It is a highly recommended, is away from the hustle, but is in the center on one of the busiest tourist areas in Seoul, carca has several palaces, shops, restaurants, museums. In this house you have lots of privacy if you want to relax, but being in the center of Seoul.

We five friends from Shanghai, China have stayed for three nights from June 23th, 2012. This house is clean & very nice with good looking views. This place has good transportation connectios to Metro Seoul. We have a great stay! We stayed at this home for 17 days for the wedding of our son/ We are SO pleased with our experience. The location allowed us to feel as though we were staying at home and live like locals. We were very comfortable with the accommodations. The home is close to the Palace, the Blue House and the Gwanghwamun area...which are wonderful places to visit as tourists. Also, in the busy-ness of Seoul, it was so nice to "come home" every day...Samcheongdong is a quiet and peaceful area of the city...yet very easily accessible to everything that the city has to offer. Mina, the homeowner, was so helpful and accomodating as well. We highly recommend this property and hope to return again in the future! Thank you Mina!

Nice, authentic clean and honest. +++++ / -- + Great stay, Mina (the host) is very helpfull and friendly. + Great location, smack in the middle of all the cultural attractions in Seoul city center and close to the city center. + Good bus connection to subway and easy to figure out. + Good and safe neighbourhood (a lot af police in the area and military) + In the "real" part of Seoul, the house is located by the end of a small narrow passage between other houses of similar type, so you get to feel and see Seoul as it is beyond the steel and glass buildings. - located next to a military base, monday morning they start at 7 am with mess and training. Can be noisy. - (and also a bit +) one double bed only, so remember that this is a korean style house where you sleep on the floor. (I like beds, but it was great to experience) Note: Another tenant is in the house, has seperate room, and entrance. Nothing is shared with this person, but nice to know. and we did not see this person at all. Internet is being installed some time during next month.

This house is located in one of my favorite neighborhoods in Seoul. There are a ton of restaurants, coffee shops, art studios, and shops that make my wife happy. When my wife is happy, everyone is happy. The only thing the neighborhood is missing is a good bar, but you won't be far from other places where the drinking is good. The house is clean and spacious. The host is very nice. The second bedroom doesn't have a bed, but uses the Korean style of floor futons. I had never slept on them before, but I have to say that it was one of the best sleeps I've had in a while so don't be put off by that. The house is located next the Blue House (where the president lives) and as such there is a garrison next door with a 24 hour watch so the place couldn't be safer. I would stay here again.
