We stayed 6 days in the apartment of Larry. It was a small basic room but with a nice bed, small kitchen where you can make a good breakfast and a nice shower with plenty of water. The price quality ratio is excellent, 10-minute walk from a subway station. For us this was eventually ff too far from downtown. You do not just ff back to your apartment. But we have been fine in the apartment and Larry is a friendly guy you can ask of everything.

Larry was very welcomed us and was helpful throughout our stay. Now for the housing it is more than limit: noise nuisance boiler throughout the day sometimes lasting several minutes at night (when the boiler starts up), a very basic kitchen table without to eat, a small bathroom with toilet. Luckily we were the only occupant of the apartment because cohabitation was more than difficult. I only recommend it for a night or two and for people with very tight budget because the apartment is actually located a few minutes from the metro.

it is a very basic room and bath. but since we weren't in most of the day, it was bearable. the bus to downtown Brooklyn served us better than walking to the nearest metro station. the Philly cheesesteak sandwich from the nearby corner gourmet deli is a must-try, super juicy!

Warm welcome from Larry, on the residence, he was always available by phone. In the house, the ground floor, first and second floors are habitable. We had to get a room on the first floor. The room was clean, quite noisy, had a TV (we did not try), walk-in wardrobe, a double bed and a noisy heating system with leaky radiator pipe, if it was turned on by other neighbors. The bathroom is very small, containing a sink, toilet and bathtub / shower - again: it's just as clean as the roommate of the floor. The same goes for the kitchen, it contains a sink, a refrigerator with freezer and a functioning old gas stove. Located in Brooklyn, of the area so one should not expect too much. Nearby are several supermarkets and 24 shops. Two 5 min away metro stations lead about 35 minutes to Manhattan. We had a 7-day Metro Card, which you can ride in buses, this proved to be very simple and could be used even after 7 days / recharged. Overall we were happy as sight-seeing students for the price, since we have used the property only as a place to sleep, have left the house early and have come back late. Have fun!

Kitchen facilities (fridge, stove) does not work. No table in the common area for breakfast and not enough cover. In addition, the heating system is noisy gas (steam whistles, blows ram) overnight. The nights have not been relaxing.

Good room for the price, fairly clean, no cons by wi-fi or internet connection (or TV, or breakfast, or "jacuzzi"), contrary to what is written in the description. Good value for a city like NY, little soundproofing effect but rather quiet neighborhood, 20 minutes from Manhattan subway.

We booked 7 nights with Larry and we can say in the Great that we enjoyed our stay good with Larry and the value for money is fully in order. In the apartment, three rooms are rented and everything we saw was clean. We had booked a room with a window and upon arrival we were unfortunately one with no windows, so it was very stuffy in the room despite fan. On demand we could move but after three nights in our booked room. Unfortunately, the neighbors were out every day until late at night very noisy, so we have often heard with ear plugs in his ears. The accommodation has something Hostel character, but you have your own room and great for the money.

Value for money is great. Great location, lots of flair. Highly Recommended. Because of the rooms you Hellhörogkeit however reliant on the housemates to behave reasonably quiet Unzeiten. Larry is very helpful and straightforward.
