Elegant and Silent Room

We had 5 nights at Damiano. The welcome was warm. We had a half hour late, but he was already waiting for us at an intersection near his home. It is located in a quiet neighborhood. Half an hour by bus to the city center (Termini), by bus + metro fifteen minutes. We were welcomed with coffee and fruit, such as strawberries. Damiano was interested to us. He gave us advice on a few eateries. Especially the pizza was good, nice terrace, friendly staff and not too expensive: € 18, - per person (starter, main course, dessert, wine bottle 0,375 l). We have eaten there 3 out of 5 times. We had arranged to also together again to eat, but it does not come. Damiano was too busy with his studies. The room was spacious with a good bed. No noise. One drawback we found breakfast. The first time there was fresh bread and croissants with jam fillings. Damiano has put us coffee (expresso). After a few days the bread was on and there was only a pack of crackers, while the bakery around the corner Sat. The siege was only jam. We have not given the time, included as a gift, but raised cheese. Often he was there in the morning itself (no longer) at 8 pm, so no coffee. All in all a great room for the price (about 60 euros all in) apart from breakfast.

We strongly recommend Damiano, always service to the people he 'welcomes, very interesting, engaging person, really know. The place is ideal for a pleasant stay in Rome - located in the very near public transportation bus and metro very quiet area. The apartment itself is all that we need. We are confident that by choosing Damiano as the host, you will feel very comfortable, has a great knowledge.

The room itself is very nicely decorated and clean. It has. Out of the room with access to the balcony and on the staircase access to a terrace on the roof of the house Overall, the whole apartment is very clean and pleasant. The owner, Damiano is a super nice Italian. Very open, interesting, tactful and warm. He gave us very good advice on where to go and excellent food where you could buy anything, what would be interesting to look at which clubs are best avoided. Damiano has tried to make us as comfortable that it feels like being in the house of an old friend. He has succeeded perfectly without being obtrusive. The location of the apartment we also liked very much. She is only two metro stops from the Coliseum, located in a neighborhood where Italians really live :) The metro station is about 10 minutes' walk away. 2 minutes away from the apartment is a bus into the city center. We strongly recommend Damiano as a host! Kind, careful and responsible person! Perfect place for a pleasant stay in Rome - located in a very calm area, with close points of the public transport. The apartment on its own is all you need - besides the cleanness, you have all the facilities, which probably you have in your own place. We are sure that,choosing Damiano as a host, you will feel save and advised as much as you need. Not less important it is the fluent and nice communication with such a experienced person. Our host was very welcoming and friendly, and the apartment is very nice, clear and calm. Shops and restaurants all around. It is also well connected by bus and metro, and the neighborhood is very quiet and inhabited by real people of Rome.

Rome is a city, huge and amazing. Damiano's accomodation is very well located - 10 min walk to the metro B and 3 station to Coliseum. The flat is great and sun lighted most of the day and there isa balcony to shill out after a long day walk. Damiano is very nice and will help for everything you need. The flat is situated in a beautiful and calm area of Rome in which you can perfectly relax from your city tours. The bus stop is 4 minutes from the flat, metro station about 10 minutes, so there is a good connection to the city centre. Shops and Restaurants are very close - really taste and affordable! The flat itself is very pretty and offers all the comfort that one can ask for. The kitchen invites you to cook and the whole flat was always clean. A big plus is also the balcony on which you can enjoy the mild evenings. Damiano as our host is a real sweetheart - friendly, helping and caring, always with a smile in the face! Special highlight was a dinner together followed by a private tour through Rome by night. Damiano made us really feel like Home in Rome and gave us a very special insight into the city and its secrets! Thanks for everything! Die Wohnung liegt angenehm ruhig in einem wunderschönem Teil von Rom, in dem man sich super von diversen Besichtigungstouren erholen kann. Zu Fuß kommt man in 4 Minuten zum Bus und in 10 Minuten zur U-Bahn, hat also eine gute Verbindung in das Zentrum. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants liegen in direkter Umgebung - sehr lecker und zu erschwinglichen Preisen! Die Wohnung selbst ist hübsch eingerichtet und bietet allen Komfort. Die Küche läd zum Kochen ein. Die gesamte Wohnung war stets sehr sauber. Ein großes Plus ist auch der Balkon, auf dem man die lauen Abende genießen kann! Damiano ist als Gastgeber ein wahrer Schatz - stets freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit, dabei immer mit einem Lächeln auf den Lippen! Besonderes Highlight war ein gemeinsames Abendessen mit anschließender Führung durch das nächtliche Rom! Er hat es geschafft, dass wir uns in Rom wie zu Hause fühlten und uns einen ganz besonderen Eindruck von der Stadt vermittelt. Vielen Dank für Alles!

Damiano is a really great Host: very helpful in many ways, he provides you with all the support you may need. Always in a good mood and very enthousiastic! Very open minded too, we spent a lot of time talking about our respective culture and how to get -as a foreigner- an Italian identity! The flat is clean and confortable. It is located in a quiet area which is appreciable after spending the day in the crowdy and noisy town of Roma. there is the bus line 715 close to the flat which gets you in Roma in 20 mns and the metro that you can easily reach by foot. The little blacony outside is enjoyable also especially for the evening when you feel like sharing a drink or a tea with your host. Thanks also Damiano to make me have discovered "il buco de Roma" that I would have probalbly missed on my own. I strongly recommend Damiano if you are looking for not only a great stay in the Eternal Roma but also a Human experience to be shared. a presto. Fanny
