CENTRO,Cibeles-Recoletos-Gran Via,Luxury, Centrally located

The apartment is in an excellent location, in the lovely neighbourhood of Chueca. Market, shops, bars & restaurants all nearby. This is actually only a suite, bedroom and bath, in a shared apartment with many other rooms. Not clear to me when booking, but it was a decent size and private. We're it clean, I would rate it very well but this is where the problem lies. Our bathroom was simply dirty: around the sink, behind the toilet and especially the shower stall. Not only was the door covered in soap scum and streaks, but there was black mould in both corners. When showering, tendrils of it swim in the water you're standing in and bits come off. The tub fills up rapidly because of the poor water pump which groans loudly every time water is run in anything (sink, shower, flushing toilet). We left a note on day 2 requesting cleaning of these items specifically but no luck. Modest accommodations ok but there is no excuse for lack of proper cleaning.

The central location of the apartment is absolutely great. The equipment in the room was good, the bathroom was clean, good wifi. The rooms were cleaned daily, small defects (light bulb) were quickly resolved. The communal kitchen, not clearly described as such, was not always clean (because of other guests), particularly the sink. Insects were not tolerable, running around in the area of ​​food cupboards in the kitchen. Thin walls let us participate in the ever-strong cough the neighbors. Key pick up was easy and the staff friendly and polite. Overall, the experience was quite enjoyable.

Positive experience in Madrid, housing close to almost every corner of the center, so there is little need to take the metro. No descricpión detailed in the kitchen is communal, but no problem cooking at almost any time.

A nice bridge in Madrid, the house in a very central and quiet, next to the lively Chueca, Calle Serrano and the Salamanca district and Cibeles, three tube stations and lines corresponding to 5 minutes to commuter train side. Clean, very impressive. Please note for future visits.

Location conveniently located steps from La Cibeles, the room is very comfortable and spacious. The very friendly host. To recommend.

Since we arrived we loved the location perfect and central. Very clean room, smell impeccable. Comfortable. The other guests very friendly. Wifi, shower, cable, etc. Freedom for cooking. Overall very happy with our stay.
