**(PLEASE COMPLETE YOUR PROFILE BEFORE BOOKING & INCLUDE YOUR PICTURE) My neat, cozy one bedroom is located next to Morningside Park in upper Manhattan or "SoHa" (South of Harlem) two minutes walk from the West 116th B/C subway station (15 minutes to Times Square by train), half a block to bus stops for Museum of Natural History. The MET, Guggenheim etc...
and five minutes walk to central park. It’s easy to get anywhere from here!
The apartment has another bedroom/study, which is not for rent - when I am in town I stay there.
5 Minute walk to Columbia University campus, great restaurants on my Avenue from 111th to 128th- now known as "Harlem's Restaurant Row"(aka Frederick Douglass Blvd), organic grocery stores, wine bars, cool drinking spots, etc. Lido, Harlem Tavern, Melba's, HFB, Jado Sushi, Zoma, Vinateria, Chocolat, Levain Bakery, 67 Orange St, and the Bier Bar are all within a few blocks of me.
About the apartment:
I’ve set things up to be simple and comfortable. There is ample storage space for your things, a fabulous Temurpedic double-bed, a well-appointed kitchen if you like to cook (VitaMix blender, pressure cooker, microwave, toaster, etc), a washing machine (and outdoor clothesline), wifi, AC, and filtered water.
Linens, towels and continental breakfast provided. I have maps, guidebooks, a list of great places in the neighborhood and plenty of info on museums, bike rentals, etc.
I have a few simple rules: Nonsmokers only please, and I prefer that people remove their shoes in the entry hallway.
About the building:
The building is more than 100 years old and has no elevator. My apartment is on the 5th floor. If you need assistance with your luggage and I am available, I will assist. My trustworthy neighbor has my spare key and will greet you if I can't be there for any reason. The building is secure and has an intercom and buzzer.

Manhatttan. El apartamento está en una zona de fácil acceso para llegar a muchas partes de la ciudad en transporte público. Por ejemplo, está a dos minutos andando de la estación de metro West 116th B/C.
Encontrareis una parada de los siguientes autobuses a media manzana del apartamento:
M3 (para el East side, la Quinta Avenida y la milla de los museos Guggenheim, MET, etc..)
M116 que cruza la ciudad de este o oeste y el M7 que te lleva a la parte oeste de Central Park)
(El apartemento tiene una habitación-estudio que no alquilo ya que es la que uso cuando estoy en la ciudad).
El apartamento también está muy cerca del campus de Columbia University. Se encuentra cerca de restaurantes buenos, en la zona conocida como restaurant row (aka Frederick Douglass Blvd) entre West 110th-125th Sts). También hay tiendas de comida orgánica, bares de copas interesantes (algunos de mis favoritos son Lido, Harlem Tavern, Melba's, Zoma, 67 Orange St y the Bier Bar entre otros).

Sobre el apartamento:
He organizado el apartamento de forma simple y comoda. Hay espacio para tu cosas, una cama de matrimonio con una colchón fantástico de "Temurpedic"; una cocina completa por si quieres cocinar (microondas, batidora, tostadora...), una lavadora de ropa y un hilo para colgar la ropa en el exterior, Wifi, aire acondicionado y agua filtrada.
Hay sábanas, toallas y desayuno continental. Tengo mapas, guías, un listado de los sitios más interesantes del barrio, información sobre museos, alquiler de bicicletas, etc.
Tengo algunas normas muy sencillas: alquilo el apartamento a no fumadores y prefiero que la gente se saque los zapatos en la entrada.
El código de Wifi está en la habitación.
Sobre el edificio:
El edificio tiene unos cien años aproximadamente y no hay ascensor. Mi apartamento está en el quinto piso. Si necesitas ayuda con tus maletas y puedo te ayudaré sin ningún problema. Mi fiable vecina tiene una cópia de mis llaves y te dará la bienvenida si yo no puedo por alguna razón. El edificio es seguro y tiene un interfono.
