Nice Greco Townhouse in Istanbul

We - 6 not-so-young early sixties - spent a wonderful week in Istanbul. The house in Faik Pasa Caddesi offered enough space for us to sleep and a shower. The rooms and three very small built-in shower and Kloräume were fine. The roof terrace was a disappointment because it was not well maintained and not really usable. With a little more attention could arrange it certainly great. That one to sit and eat in the basement needs to go is getting used to. The table there can only accommodate 6 people, and large parties to arrange this in this house, I am not entirely clear. The two kitchens you can actually use only Teemachen. The room in the basement next to the kitchen is really not usable, it is dark and damp. Nice the rooms on the upper two floors and the large upper Bad.Insgesamt were the house was a little too dark, even in the "living room" you always had to turn on the overhead light. The neighborhood is a little getting used to, but after the first day we had resigned ourselves to the slightly run-down environment and the noise in the street. Without earplugs sleep is very difficult. Nevertheless, it has been a good experience - we were only 6 people and so had the choice between the rooms, the house was central, was easily accessible and the rental worked reliably and smoothly. We had a good time at this place, with a large group of friends (4 couples and three little children). Everything was according to the description on the Wimdu website and we were kindly welcomed and helped. The presence of 5 separate, clean bathrooms was very useful as well. The only downside is the small living room, which makes it impossible to enjoy a meal with everyone at the same time. But that was expected and taken into calculation. As I understood, after our stay they were planning to change the building to make it more suitable for the accomodation of long-staying groups of students (?), but don't quote me on that...

Perfect place to stay and kind staff to help us get around during our stay. Everything nearby and still very quit neighborhood.

nice apartement, very small but cosy and very central. good communication with renter. though there´s a mosque right opposite of the building it´s quiet. good windows. :)

The apartment has a really good location for tourists to discover Istanbul and Istanbul have real feeling. The apartment itself is clean and equipped with everything you need. For 4 people it was very comfortable.

Communication before our stay and property management when we were there was always very good and 100% reliable. We stayed for three nights and did not have any problems. The location is perfect - nice little cafes, restaurants and bars just around the corner. We never had to take a taxi and enjoyed exploring the neighbourhood. Although the flat is situated so central it is very quiet as it is in a narrow side street without tourists passing and hardly any traffic. A budget saving alternative to a hotel if you want to stay central and in walking distance to public transport and nightlife.

The district and the surrounding area of ​​the currency are great, the nearby supermarket as possible in the currency very convenient to have breakfast or evening times bread, grape leaves, cheese, etc. to eat. There are also small restaurants, pubs etc. in the area (downhill). Uphill here for the lively Istiklal Street with many shops almost the very European "lifeline" of Beyoglu. The view from the window of the apartment is a nice little backyard. Therefore, it is very quiet. Everything you need is available. Minor damage in the currency can be seen, but that does not limit the Nutzberkeit. Did not like the bad water running in the bathroom. But this is plenty of hot shower water. For the price, but we would recommend it especially because of the great location!

The apartment was very nice (great furniture), but a little noisy. She lay in a beautiful and safe neighborhood near the Museum of Innocence and various thrift shops and cafes, so perfectly placed. There are only about 5-10 minutes walk to Taksim Square. Galata is also nearby. The nearest tram station is 5-10 minutes.

The apartment is in a great central location in the entertainment district. Equipment was good, double bed and two single beds and open additional beds. Kitchen and bathroom OK drove us a dispatcher, the landlord organization collected at the airport (4pers. total 30Euro) and directly in front of the apartment on our wish. Also the driver for the return was on time at the door. Deposit of 100 Euro we check out, we agreed to get back, advance the apartment via Wimdu has also worked. Us absolutely loved it we would do it again! Much more relaxed than in the hotel.
