Ideally situated for Liverpool's shopping, nightlife and history and only a mile and a quarter from the tunnel. 10 minutes into Liverpool city centre. Nearby train stations and bus routes. Port Sunlight where the wonderful Lady Lever Art Gallery is situated and Birkenhead Park (Central Park was modelled from this) and Hamilton Square (largest collection of Grade II buildings outside of London) are all 5 minutes away. The house is on the River Mersey and situated in a historic Victorian park. The house and its neighbouring houses own the river esplanade and this makes for a wonderful walk along the river for dog walkersand joggers etc. There is a large decking area at the bottom of the garden which is great for morning coffee and barbecues etc that is 10 ft away from the river's edge.
The house is in a very quiet conservation area. I have 3 double rooms available. The house is fully furnished in a style reflecting the age of the house 1840. The bedroom is large and fully furnished with cream French furniture, an ornate metal bed and pink brocade drapes. The room overlooks the park opposite.
There are 2 bathrooms one with a bath and the other is a wet room. I am currently having another bathroom remodelled. All towels supplied. There is a large kitchen that you can eat in and seperate dining room that looks out onto the river. A beautiful drawing room that also overlooks the river. There is a pretty reading room and a laundry room with washing machine and dryer etc. There is parking on driveway or on the road as it is a private road.
The house has Sky Plus tv and wireless internet. This information is more valid for long terms guests but all council tax, water, electric, gas, wireless internet and sky tv bills are included. Also free landline telephone use. Stunning view and lovely house, hard to find.
If you are staying for a night or two you may help yourself to tea/coffee and toast alternatively there is a Wetherspoons and various cafés a 10 minute walk away or a McDonalds one mile away right by the tunnel to Liverpool.
