On the ground floor is a lockable bike store, so why not consider leaving the car at home and hiring bicycles for the perfect way to see the city. Station Cycles cycle hire can be found around the corner in the station car park. Cambridge is bicycle friendly with bike lanes and even cyclist traffic lights! In such a small city, it is the ideal way to travel. It is a short ride to the historic city centre, only a few miles to Grantchester Meadows, where you can sit beside the river, watch the punters on the upper river and enjoy a picnic away from the bustle. Or why not take the bike on the train to the city of Ely for a day out.
