Under no circumstances would I recommend this property to anyone! #1 reason,we arrived in London after an overnight flight from the States,only to find that we unable to contact "Irene" as we were instructed! After several attempts,we made our way to the property.There was a key code on the door.No code was given to us! The gentleman who owned the business next door asked how he could help.He knew the handyman who worked in the building and called him to let us in.The room,in no way resembled the pictures on the Wimbu site.It was dirty, and musty,the shower caulking black with mold!The "bath towels" were the size of a tea towel,2 each for 10 days.And,we never saw "Irene" in the 10 Days we were there!

Not a very good place to stay for more than a couple of days. The price is far too high for the quality you get - and the quality is, in fact, quite low.

I lived here for 7 weeks during a work-related visit to London. The apartment I got did not look like the one in the picture. It was a lot dirtier. The kitchen sink had a rotten smell to it that never went away (and wasn't fixed despite me teeling the person in charge). I ended up buying a new pot because the one that was provided was badly damaged and unusable. I also bought cleaning supplies to keep the place somewhat tidy.

Worst of all: At least one wall seems to be moldy from a water damage. It gives off a very unpleasant smell.

One the plus side: Harlesden isn't fashionable but nice. Very international. And it's easy to reach the city (via Overground).

Studio to rent for a short stay, Willesden Junction (#WJE)

Wir kamen am Freitag an, der Vermieter hat uns an sich vorbeilaufen lassen, fand es nicht der mühe wert uns aufzuhalten, so wurden aus einem kurzen Fussweg ein ziemlich langer unnötiger hin&her marsch.

Das Studio an sich war OK, die Sauberkeit lässt echt zu wünschen übrig.
Der Abflussstopel war derart verunreinigt und voll mit Haaren (es grauste uns sehr)
Der Duschhahn machte den Anschein als wäre er aus dem Jahr 1920, Wasser kam sporadisch, das Waschbecken war für Kinder und ebenso der Alibert der viiiiiiel zu hoch hing und überall kleine Haare :(

Das Bett naja...jede Bewegung konnte man spüren, die Feder drückten sich so stark raus das wir Handtücher darunter legen mussten...

Es war alles in einem ein Aufenthalt den wir nicht empfehlen..

Die Lage 1A, wenn es sauberer wäre dann hätten wir keinerlei Beanstandung gehabt, wir sind auch keine MONKS/Nörgler.. aber ein bisschen Komfort & Sauberkeit erwartet man dann doch....

London war wiedermaaal mega mega geil :))) Gerne wieder.

Large studio to rent in Paddington (#LG)

Le quartier est magnifique,l'immeuble aussi.A 15min à pieds de Marble Arch et Oxford Street et à 2min de Hyde Park.Pour l'appartement c'est une autre affaire.La moquette date de la 2ème guerre mondiale,tout comme les fenêtres qui ont 2-3 carreaux fendus entièrement sûrement pendant le bombardement de Londres.Les lits sont corrects,les rangements sont nombreux même si une partie de l'armoire est inaccessible parce que le lit est trop prêt donc on ne peut pas ouvrir les tiroirs.L'appartement est loué pour 2-4 personnes.Le couchage c'est bon mais il n'y a que 3 chaises dont une est cassée et penche dangereusement.Il n'y a que 4 assiettes,4 verres.Pour les couverts il y a ce qu'il faut.La plaque de cuisson date et il manque un bouton,il n'y pas de manique pour le four,pas de dessous de plat ni de plat à four d'ailleurs,le lave linge la moitié des programmes ne fonctionne pas tout comme le lave vaisselle.Concernant la salle de bain,les carrelages et joints sont propres mais la peinture est dans un état de saleté que j'aurai honte de louer comme ça.Et enfin si possible,n'utilisez pas les robinets.Le chauffe eau doit aussi dater de la 2ème guerre mondiale.Dès qu'on tire de l'eau chaude ou froide il fait un boucan d'enfer dans tout l'appartement.En conclusion,payer 1000€ la semaine pour un appartement comme ça,très peu pour moi.Wimdu ne doit jamais faire de contrôle à l'improviste des appartements.J'aurai honte de louer ça en France.Wimdu et Irene,pour moi c'est fini.

Flat to Let in Willesden Green (#ME12)

Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war unkompliziert und freundlich. Die Wohnung liegt günstig, ca. 10 Gehminuten von der Station "Willesden Green" und zwei Supermärkten entfernt. Dusche und Küche waren in gutem Zustand, das eigentliche Zimmer aber nur mäßig in Schuss. Zwei feuchte (oder schimmelige?) Stellen an der Wand waren einfach mit Küchenpapier überklebt worden. Vor allem aber sind die Wände in dieser Wohnung unglaublich dünn. Wer Glück mit den Nachbarn oder insgesamt wenig Probleme mit Lautstärke hat, den wird das nicht stören. Wer in dieser Hinsicht empfindlich ist, dem kann man eigentlich nicht zu dieser Wohnung raten.

appartamento poco accogliente ,divano letto scomodo per due persone ,solo tre sedie per quattro persone.....comodo comunque ai collegamenti pubblici per visitare la città e vicino a molti supermercati...nel complesso ci siamo trovati bene

pues tuvieron el detalle de enviarnos a un chico español a recibirnos, se agradece. la localización estupenda, la estación de metro de la linea central a 2 minutos andando, y otra a 5 minutos. el barrio muy animado, llenito de tiendas de comestibles y regalos, hay hasta un spar y un centro comercial en la esquina con un supermercado mark & spencer, que es como el mercadona nuestro.
El estudio bastante amplio, en la cocina todo lo imprescindible incluso lavadora, solo le faltaba un barreño para poder lavar la ropa a mano.
el único inconveniente son las escaleras, el piso esta muy alto, cuando llegas arriba vas limpiando la alfombra con la lengua, pero hay que mirarlo por el lado positivo, un poco de ejercicio no viene mal para las piernas.
ah, un poquito de limpieza a fondo de vez en cuando no le vendría mal, es que limpiaron solo lo que se ve, pero pusimos las maletas encima de los armarios y no veas lo que había allí, un ecosistema propio, ademas había un tiket de compra del inquilino anterior al lado de la cama, vamos que no barrieron muy bien.

Le studio est très bien situé , à 2 min du métro, des commerces, d'un grand parc et à 10 min du quartier du Notting Hill . Le studio est petit , le lit un peu dur, les meubles sont ancien. Mais pour quelques jours à Londres c'est correct et l'emplacement est vraiment idéal , tout prés du centre !
