I have a very nice guest room one stop from Manhattan in North Williamsburg in a beautiful newly renovated apartment.
Incredibly convenient location 4 blocks to the Bedford Ave. L train stop (one stop to the East Village in Manhattan.) Right near EVERYTHING: restaurants, cafes, bars, groceries, parks, the East River, galleries, boutiques, gyms, yoga studios, health food stores, etc.
The apartment is clean, elegant and comfortable: many tall windows, lots of sun, new hardwood floors, brand new big (for NY!) kitchen, high ceilings, recessed lighting, air conditioning, brand new bathroom with bathtub, wi-fi internet (wireless and ethernet.) The apartment is on the 3rd floor so it's high enough for good street views from all rooms, but still easy to get to. The streets just below the apartment are fairly quiet in the evenings through the winter months. In the spring and summer as the weather warms up there's a good amount of activity on Friday and Saturday nights-- this is a fairly popular neighborhood. So, to make your sleep the best possible, there is a white noise machine in the room.
The guest room is a sunny corner room with 3 ceiling-tall windows, a double bed (with brand new high quality mattress), and a desk. There are down comforters with duvets to keep you very warm in the winter plus a down filled comforter beneath the sheets for extra warmth and softness. The bedrooms are on opposite sides of the apartment which makes the room very private. Also, the whole apartment, including the bedroom, has air conditioning if needed.
Coffee and tea are provided. You are welcome to make light breakfast in the kitchen but food prep for guests is limited to breakfast and packing a lunch.
I try to keep the apartment eco-friendly and healthy by recycling and using natural cleaning products as much as possible. Fresh laundered towels and linens are provided.
I live here and although my boyfriend has his own place elsewhere, he is here very often. So really you will be sharing the space with both of us. We are both friendly, easygoing and considerate. I have been hosting over a year, so we are used to having guests and enjoy it. My bedroom and the guest bedroom you would have are at opposite ends of the apartment which means we don't hear each other.
A pet may be ok depending on what kind and size. I may need an additional cleaning fee and or refundable pet deposit to have a pet in the apartment.
Check-in is between 2p and 7pm. Late check-in and also holding bags before or after check-in is a possibility but there is a $20 fee added for this service.
