Renovated Apartment in the Marais

Gerardo can forget real host. The communication of booking acceptance with him was a disaster. He does not answer e-mails, can be reached by phone almost does not speak French, English, German, Italian only. 2 days prior to departure, he tells us about an employee in broken French that the apartment is not available, because electrical problems. Provides us then another at (Boulevard Pereire), we take - what we should do well. Of a bookable airport pickup he wanted to know anything, even though it is in all of his homes, he has promised collection, even in writing, but it is then not come, we went by taxi. (He has adopted us for the cleaning fee) SMS in France regarding removal time he did not answer. The person then comes to acceptance, speaks only Spanish. The Wohnungt itself up on a few things (a fan in the dining room never goes out, wash from the previous tenant is still in the closet, ..) simple, but quite ok. I would want from a private landlord more responsiveness and reliability. Us has ruined the 5-day stay in Paris pretty! The concept works Wimdu stop only when you have a reasonable rent - Wimdu has also helped us barely.

Very nice apartment, comfortable, very clean, well equipped, and with lots of character. Really good (especially if you like lafête in the swamp!). The host is very legit and very friendly, although communication was a little difficult (does not speak French or English). It's still a great experience and we will return to him without hesitation for our next visit to Paris.

My stay in this apartment was as expected, it looked just like in pictures, it was simple but well decorated and clean. Location was very good for my needs. I would stay again in this apartment.

I had a pleasure to lodge in the tiny but very soulful flat in the centre of the Old Paris. Strictly recommended not only to all people seeking the atmosphere of the avantgarde but also to those preferring easy-going life of the ordinary Paris.

Very charming, bright apartment, located in the Marais. By foot it is only a few meters from the nearest restaurant or supermarket. For exploring Paris, the location is ideal! The apartment is very quiet, has a comfortable bed and a sofa bed. A small kitchen with table to have breakfast or drink a glass of wine is also available. The bathroom is very small, but clean and tidy. The building and the courtyard are old and very picturesque. Beautiful!

Apartment very well located in the heart of Paris. Very quiet and tastefully decorated. Ideal for a couple or a family with small children.

We had a pleasant stay. The apartment is no frills but nice, clean and quiet. Bedding comfortable although the bed in the room is a bit narrow. Ideal location close to everything.

This is a second rate apartment in a first rate district. Location-wise it couldn't be bettered. Walking distance to many of the main sights and close to the Batobus which will take you to many more of them. The apartment is quiet and in a beautiful old building. It is on the 6th floor ( with a lift) and has the feel of a tiny 'garret' or maybe student's digs .Although the owner states that it was 'totally renovated' less than a year ago, it feels as if the renovation ran out of money ! The kitchen facilities are really only adequate for a picnic with hot drinks, and some of the paintwork is already peeling off. There is no hanging space for clothes - the beautiful cupboard in the photo was locked, there are not enough chairs for four people and there is no breakfast supplied as stated. Having said that, the greeting service was efficient and friendly, the wifi worked fine and there was sufficient hot water for 2 people. For the price it is good value but for me, I would prefer to spend an extra £22 a night and book the owner's appartment for 7 in the same building which is very spacious.

We stayed in this apartment for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. It is in a perfect location on a quiet cobbled street and the apartment itself is in great condition. Would definitely recommend it!
