Super apartment well located in the Jordaan (near the center of Amsterdam, shopping streets, stores of all kinds) and very charming with its terrace overlooking the canal! Super apartment. Centrally located, easy access to everything, right on a quiet street or gracht. We had a great 4 nights and thanks to martijn the landlord. Everything worked perfectly ... until next time

The apartment is in a great location, set up big enough for 2-3 people, clean and stylish. We (family with 1 child) made us feel like home!

Beautiful apartment. Excellent location. I particularly appreciated that everything (except food off course) is provided in the apartment such as towels, soap, tooth paste...etc which is not always the case when you rent an apartment. Other really good point is that we were able to check out whenever we wanted which is very convenient not to bother about baggage the last day. The negative points are the bed and couches which are really uncomfortable.

So Oct 2012 me and my husband came to Holland to run a half marathon, we left it late to book a hotel and the prices were out of this world HIGH, a friend recommended Wimdu to us and I looked it up I never seen or heard of this type of thing....I can accross Martjin advert and thought wowo no way it cant be soo afforable?! It was we satyed for the weekend ..I was nervous was it going to be as described? was the person who owned the place going to be normal, was there going to be any bed bugs or other infestion problems? was it going to be clean? I looked into it further and we decided to take a chance and book book...The best thing we ever did!! not only was it cheaper but it made more sense, cleaner, central to everywhere, in a nice part of town, nice neigbours, the list could go on. the appartment was beautiful,modern, clean, warm, well stocked, and homely it was as describe and exactly as the images showed we had beauiftul flowers to look at too (those li things go a long way), everything working in perfect order and more importnatly our host was great, suggested places, gave us the low down on where to go what to do etc. He even went as far a informing us of the best route to get to our race etc how to m ake things cost effective. this appartment is for the modern person a very cosmpolitian place to stay both area and appartment. He made it simple for us to collect the keys and drop off the keys and kept in touch when we needed questions answered I would most definatly recommend this host and appartment to all of my friends or anyone looking for a place to stay. Such a cool appartment to stay in if you are visiting. Everything was as described and more :)

Great accommodation and area. Able to walk to most points of interest. Martjin was very helpful host even delivering forgotten items to station! We would stay there again and recommend to friends.

Our stay in Amsterdam was wonderful, the location unbeatable d the house, in the center but a very trankila to rest when we returned, tmb d near Central Station, all very accessible .. gorgeous .. perfect apartment decor, bathroom tmb very comfortable ... But .. the toilet was lousy d the house (cleaning) was all dirty and messy drawers filled d .. Owners tackle the kitchen .. dirty .. the fridge froze everything .. the mattress d the bed to change this .. in the bedroom had a huge picture behind d door with broken glass and spilled on the floor (and traveling with a baby) .. x Not to mention the thousand spiders q d had x every corner. . d truth cleanliness left much to be desired q ... Besides, you would travel with the deal and I love the way you have q d work!

Excellent apartment, clean and modern! the district is the most beautiful and peaceful of Amsterdam, 5 minutes walk from the train station and the Red light district. the owner is very polite and organized, do not miss nulla.ci absolutely come back as soon as possible! recommended not only to children but also for families and adults.
