Potts Pt APT for 5 w/ Dbl Balcony

The whole thing was actually as easy and positive as they listened to on the Internet, what we did not necessarily know that we had booked for the first time on Wimdu. The key pickup was quick and easy, since we had already received most of the information via email, we only had to spot the very last information given. Now to the apartment: Everything as described, ie centrally located and yet very quiet, great skyline view from the balcony, very neat and perfectly equipped. Just great, thank you very MUCH!

Biggest plus: location! It's on a quiet street that's within easy walking distance to the harbor, the Rocks, and botanical gardens, and a little bit more ambitious walking distance to Darling Harbor. Other than the ferries, you'll hardly need public transportation at all to see the major sights. Other pluses: the view (enjoyed mostly inside -- the balcony is quite narrow); the spaciousness; the modern features; the well-appointed kitchen and bathroom. It's a beautiful apartment, but definitely suited best for singles or couples. We brought along two nieces, ages 17 and 25, and the mattresses in the foldout sofa and chair were barely passable. The mattress in the sofa was particularly disagreeable with a hard horizontal bar hitting just underneath the lower back. Yes, it sleeps five -- but it sleeps only two comfortably! What the photo of the bedroom also doesn't show is that the entire apartment is an open design. The division between the bedroom and living area is a metal miniblind, so if you're wanting bedroom privacy, this is not the apartment for you! By the way, the apartment building itself is the structure with the "W" sign in the seventh photo. Also of note: The restaurant next door is worth recommending. If you need groceries, the nearest store is a Woolworth's that's about a 10- to 15-minute walk away that -- no kidding -- includes a 100-step outdoor staircase. You'll get a workout! The apartment building has a manned reception desk, and a woman who works there was particularly helpful with advice on getting around. The desk also has a phone line specifically for calling cabs. Very handy for getting to the airport!

The apartment is very good situated nearby central station. We could easyly get to all places we wanted to visit. Everything we needed was there. But it was not very comfortable to get the key at a different place far away, where the lady couldn´t tell us the way to the apartment. It is only possible by going by taxi. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay very much.

Beautiful apartment, 2 bedrooms, spacious living room. Good equipment appliances. Swimming pool, gym: real benefits. Apartment located in Sydney as close to the Central Station. It is located in an area where quality of life is quiet and pleasant. Warning, the district lacks some shops and we must take precautions before returning.

We decided to stay in Clovelly for our 5 night stay in Sydney as we were travelling with our 3 and 6 year old and wanted somewhere not too far from the airport, family friendly, close to a beach but still with good access to central Sydney, and this was certainly all that. We arrived early in the morning but still the staff at World Apartments were happy to let us have our key on the understanding that the apartment would not be ready for occupation 'til later that day which was great as it saved killing time in that area. Parking near the office was a bit of a pain as we didn't know the on street parking rules, but we found a car park near a McDonalds just a short walk down the road. The apartment was fantastic. It was clean, well equipped and suited us well as a family of 4. The living accommodation is the upper floor and has large bi-fold doors opening onto the balcony. The bedrooms and bathroom are downstairs with a useful laundry area. The bedrooms have access to another balcony although, as we did not want the kids to see that the doors opened, didn't go out. Thankfully there is no long drop off this balcony if a child were to escape. The view from the upper balcony was fantastic, and at sunrise was worth the money paid alone! A secure underground car park with lift access was great especially in the hot weather. There is a family friendly beach just over the road that allowed the kids to swim in the sea quite safely. There are a few local places to eat and a small foodworks supermarket, although we found Coles at Bondi Junction offered more choice. The Seasalt Cafe over the road is open 8-4 weekends and 9-4 weekdays and the breakfast we had there was great, just wish they were open for evening meal! We caught the bus into Sydney on a couple of occasions and on Sundays there is a special ticket for $2.50 each that allows travel on all Sydney buses, trains and ferries. The bus journey was probably 30 mins and saved parking. Overall our time here in Clovelly was exceptional and I would not hesitate to book this apartment again. In fact I'm counting down the time until I get to come back!

The location of the apartment is super small, centrally located and everything within easy reach. The only thing we were not so great was the view out the window. (Front side of the house) The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom with washing machine and dryer great. We would book this studio any time.

The apartment was very clean and extremely comfortable although could do with being updated. The apartment had excellent views of Sydney. There was no information in the apartment about local amenities, such as how to get to the opera house, nearest supermarket, train station etc, The administration company for the apartment on our arrival were very poor,we rang ahead when we arrived at the Airport as requested by the office several days prior, no body answered so we had to leave a message on the answer phone, unaware if they had received this or not, we took a taxi to the apartment via the office, on arrival the office was locked up, no staff around, I had a taxi waiting on yellow lines! after about 5 minutes a member of staff appeared, extremely flustered as he had been in the pub and hadnt seen our taxi pull up! The key hand over was very rushed to the extent they omitted to tell us the number on the keyring with the room key was not the number of the apartment! Once we discovered this at the apartment, I asked the reception for assistance and was met by a very rude woman who basically told us she was busy, go away and I will speak to you when I am free, she did have enough time to point me to a road that had a pay phone! I then tried the emergency number I had for the office several times, without success nobody answered it. The said receptionist thought better of her actions and decided she would assist us. Thank god we had arrived on a domestic flight to Sydney not after our 20hour flight from the UK! Be warned if you stay here over a weekend, the pub next door is very noisy and the apartment has an extremely noisy neighbour who likes to party until 4am! Please allow about 60 dollars for a taxi from the airport, they dont like waiting around and will charge you! We did enjoy our stay in Sydney just a shame we were so tired due to the neighbour!

The apartment has a great location and very good size and well distributed. However, should the three beds thicker mattresses. We were there with five adults, which was for three in the small room very cramped. One should add to the description that it is for 2 adults and up to 3 children. With the key service and has all super geklappt.Vielen thanks.

Great location, would stay again Carpet needs to be deodorized as smells when windows are closed but soon disappears after opening windows . New pillows would be welcome
