The accommodation is located in Sendling. Despite its location in the inner city and its thick building development the area is very green. The Westpark nearby is a green oasis in the inner city. At the same time, however, it only takes a few minutes to get to the old town or the Theresienwiese. There you can experience the famous Oktoberfest, often referred to as “Wiesn” by Munich locals, which is the world’s biggest folk festival taking place every year from mid-September to the beginning of October.
The foci of the Munich Night life are situated in the nearby inner-city districts of Schwanthalerhöhe, Altstadt, Alt-Schwabing and Glockenbachviertel. Therefore Sendling is a good starting point for Nighthawks, too.
The district near the old town is easily accessible by public transportation. In the eastern part of Sendling s connected by the S-Bahn (city train) lines S7 and S27 can be used. Both lines run directly to the Theresienwiese where the Oktoberfest takes place yearly. However, the “Wiesn” is so close-by that it can also be reached on foot.
