Bathroom with shower, basin, toilet has semi-opaque window. Free WLAN-DSL. Located at the centre of the Prenzlauer Berg, with bakery, supermarket and countless cafes, pubs, bars, clubs and restaurants all within walking distance. Lots of tiny stores and shops invite browsing and rummaging. Well known places like Helmholtzplatz and Kollwitzplatz are 5 and 10 minutes walk away. The local S Bahn train station, �Schoenhauser Allee�, is only 5 minutes walk away � it takes you to Alexanderplatz in 8 minutes, to Potsdamer Platz in 20 minutes. Tram Stop 1 minute. There are parking meters in the street, but you can stop immediately in front of the house to unload your luggage. Your host speaks German and English.

Berlin has a new city-tax law. That means :

From 01.01. 2014 all private guests must pay 5% extra cash when the make check-in at the accomodation.
But only private guests (Holiday guests). Business guests are free from this new Berlin - City -tax.
All guests they are booking in 2013 for 2014 must pay not this new City tax.
But all guests they make a new booking in 2014 for 2014 or 2015 must pay this new city-tax.

Business guests are free from this new City tax. Business guest must fill a shit of paper and sign this paper that they are here for Business...

Price example :

When a guest pays 100-Euro for acomodation, the guest have to pay 5% = 5-Euro City tax in cash during the check - in.

I`am really sorry for this new and important Information. But this is in Berlin for all acomodation a new law...

2013 is free from this tax, but 2014 not. That means 2014 you must definately pay this 5% tax during your check-in.
But you pay not this 5% City - tax when you are a Business visitor...

Protect the environment and the nature � be sensitive and reasonable with your water consumption and your use of the heater. Please close the windows and switch off the heater when leaving. It is better for the climate (and the heating bill).

Separate your rubbish...:) The designated bins are in the courtyard.

For this apartment, you have two bisycles for free to discover the city of Berlin... :)

At the end of your stay, simply leave the apartment keys on the kitchen counter and firmly close the apartment door behind you. That�s it!

Sehr schön Appartement und das noch in besten Lage in Berlin, unzählige feinen Strassen Kaffee, Restaurant und bar in der nähe, aber doch alles schön und sehr ruhig! Michael ist ein sehr freundlich und unkompliziert Gastgeber, sehr empfehlenswert, gern wieder.

Prima appartement in een leuke buurt van Berlijn. De U Bahn en de S Bahn zijn vlakbij.
De flat is van alle gemakken voorzien, schoon en heel rustig.
We komen hier de volgende keer graag weer terug.

We had the best time at this apartment, the most beautiful flat in the most beautiful area of Berlin. Check-in was with Michael's friend Janet, who was very friendly and helpful. The area was ideally located, very close to public transport to all major Berlin sights, as well as being situated near many great restaurants and bars for local entertainment. What's more, the apartment was one direct S-bahn train ride from Schonfeld airport, which made things especially easy and convenient. The apartment was very clean and well-maintained, with perfect wi-fi and appliances. Will definitely be using again when we are next in Berlin!
