Gigi met us at the metro station and showed us to another apartment close to the one we had booked. Apparently there were problem with the management about guess staying at the flat we had originally booked. This apartment was 2 mins from the station but in a older style building. The flat did not seem clean - pots and pans were unwashed, bathroom looked dirty and tired, The shower screen fell off it hinges when I showered. The place looked like people had left in a rush, Sandals were found in shoe cupboard. As we were there for only a few days and were out all the time it was less of a problem. However, the host was very hospitable and the location was convenient. I think for the price paid it was definately not good value - pay a little more and get a good hotel.

Where do I begin? For starter, I don't even know if I should be rating this apartment since I didn't even get a chance to see it, let alone live in it. What upset me the most is that I contacted Gigi prior to my trip, and she gave me the directions to get to the apartment, but once I landed at 11 something on the day of, I called her to let her know and she tells me that she'll need to call me back. She finally calls me back a little after 12 when we got to the apartment that we were supposed to live in. Then she tells me that there's a "gas leak" in the apartment and we wouldn't be staying there, but I actually saw it in another site that she actually double booked this apartment. So, she ended up giving me an apartment 5-10 minutes from where we were supposed to live. The reason why we decided to book this apartment was because it was in the heart of Mongkok and everything is downstairs. The apartment we stayed in needed some spring cleaning. The bathroom had some leakage problem – after we showered, we always had to clean up the water (not something that I expected to do on vacation). There were some outlets in the apartment that didn’t even work. When we finally found one that did, I tried charging my phone, but it burned my converter and phone cable (good thing my phone was fine – otherwise, I would be even more pissed). During our stay there, we actuallysee a letter in the building stating that the building is actually being CONDEMNED by the Hong Kong government since it’s not safe to live in. Then it explains it ALL!!! We were even more pissed – how can you allow people to live in a place where it’s not safe to live in? We are very disappointed with the experience, with Gigi, and with Wimdu. Even if the apartment that we live in was free, I wouldn’t EVER live there again, let alone I had to pay close to $150 a night for a condemned apartment. Ridiculous! I felt that we were scammed. We see a decent apartment and then we book it, but once we land, we are given a crappy place and we have no choice since we are there with all of our luggages. We were pretty much under her mercy.

Friendly host, alighted at the wrong busstop on the first day and Gigi actually walked all the way up to meet us, really appreciate her effort. Apartment is clean and spacious as compared to some other houses in hk. Excellent location. Train stn less then 5 mins walk away. Easily accessible. Shopping mall right opposite, convenience store and eateries are a stone throw away. Will definitely look for this host again when I'm coming back to hk.

Gigi's apartment is very spacious, it has 3 bedrooms that can accommodate large groups though only 4 of my friends stayed there. The place is clean, neat and tidy and well situated in Mong Kok area. Very strict check out time for those who have a later flight.

Gigi was very accommodating and helpful even during the enquiry stage of knowing more about her apartments. When we arrived in HK, we were brought to the apartment we booked and it was cozy, fits our whole group of 8 just nicely. Everything was clean and working well, and in good condition. However, for 8 people to share a toilet was quite hectic. Other than that, it was fantastic! We stayed right about the Ladies Market and it is a very vibrant Mong Kok indeed. Will definitely look for Gigi the next round I plan to visit Hong Kong. =)

at first I'd like to tell everyone that GIGI is a very nice person the apartment is smaller than it mentionned , the living room is really too small for 9 persons and not enough chairs The location is very convenient for tourists and a short stay but if you stay more than 1 week it may be tiring also there was work upstairs and it wasn't possible to stay in the apartment after 09 AM But do not hesitate to stay there if it's your first time at HONG KONG , location is convenient

Gigi is friendly and the accommodation is near MTR station, quite a strategic location. The ladies market just downstairs and nearby have lot of restaurants and local snack food can find. 7-11 shop can see everywhere. Will choose to stay here again if visit Hong Kong again : )
