Located in one of the most famous and historic streets of Rome, Via de Giubbonari, the street connecting the old Jewish Ghetto and the famous Campo de' Fiori. The name of the street comes from the presence on it of workshops for craftsmen and shops selling more or less valuable so-called bodices of cloth. The artisans and vendors were called gipponari, in Latin jupponarii, this is actually the profession where the name of the street derives from. In our days, along the street, the visitors can find a high variety of shops, ovens for bread, pastries, including the famous pastry bar "Bernasconi" located right next to the entrance of the apartment.
