Nice flat in Cologne Old Town, bright and quiet (GW1)

Apartment is nice, clean and cozy. Everything you could need. 2 minute walk to Hansaring station and 10 minutes walk to Dom / Hbf handling the arrival and departure top. Gastgeberinkontakt very nice. Shame about.

The best thing about the apartment is near the city center and the quiet location. The area was not so good, but distance to the train and Eigelsteinviertel as promised. The apartment was easy to promise more photos! All in all it has been a good, Cologne is worth the trip.

We can not recommend this apartment unfortunately! When we arrived on a cold autumn evening, in the bright, modern apartment windows were all tilted and it was freezing. Despite immediate closing of all windows and turning up all the radiators to level "5", we got it all evening not hot because the large kitchen has only a small and large radiator. Furthermore, can the large radiator only heat the bedroom. Unfortunately the beds are also still on the radiator. The bed unfortunately lacks an adjustable head rest. The other day it was only moderately warm. The manager gave us 3 towels, from the color work as towels and crumpled like fresh from the dryer. The beds we also had on it alone.The shower / toilet, there is no outlet. The shower hanger was broken, so the freezer door in the refrigerator. We complained about the calcified kettle with whole pieces, and the coffee was calcified. During our remaining stay of more than 2 days of the owner of the machines were decalcified or replaced. Furthermore, the pots and sometimes the dishes were dirty. We have not found how noisy the images on Wimdu a modern flat screen TV in the living room, but only a fairly small tube TV with a mobile antenna system, where about half of the programs were strong pixelten and not to look at. The floor lamp sometimes had a bad connection, can not be dimmed and the upper bulb was broken from the start.

Very clean flat, perfectly functional, and nice and warm in the snow. Good location- one stop to Dom, or an ok walk. Downsides, bed had no head board, which meant the pillows moved a lot, not enough pillows, very small kitchen (but fine if you eat out the whole time). Excellent german shower in tiny bathroom. All in all, a mixed bag, but worth the money!

Very convenient to public transportation. The apartment's neighborhood is not very charming, but it was safe. the apartment was a little basic/devoid of character. Tha bathroom was small and dark. The bed was smashed up against the window and radiator. And it was difficult to situp in bed as it lacked a headboard. Yet, the apartment was clean and tidy. It was on the ground level hitch was nice as we only had to climb 4 or 5 steps.

This apartment is just great: It is very centrally located and also relatively quiet. It is equipped with everything you need (coffee maker, pots, cutlery ...). But the best thing is: it is very clean and you can feel it. I have now been to the 2nd Times a week and spent it can only recommend. Especially the communication with the owner was always great. It responds to every email quickly and is generally very straightforward!

We stayed for three days in Nicole and enjoyed it very much. The house was very clean and comfortable. Good value for money. The location is great, within walking distance from the city center and train station. The kitchen is a bit 'small, but it was not a problem. Recommended to all!

Apartment is perfect for a couple with or without children, (we had elderly mother with us). It has good ameneties, is quiet, warm and bright. Sofabed was very comfy. Shower was very good and there is always hot water. U and S bahn really are only 1 minute walk away.Within a few minutes walk are some bakeries and a couple of Turkish supermarkets which are great for cheap fresh fruit and vegetables. Kitchen area is very small but is enough for the basics.

This is a very central, quiet, clean and bright apartment. It was the perfect place for our stay in Cologne and would suit all types of travellers.
