Beautiful Taksim 'Pasha' Apartment

We had wonderful days in Istanbul, the apartment is super cheap, clean and nice, good beds, a small balcony and a sofa corner to rest, what more could you want! Mehmet is very nice, everything went smoothly and he organized airport shuttle made the arrival and departure pleasantly relaxed, thank you Mehmet!

Very good location, and ok flat. Kitchen a bit poorly equipped, and balcony rather narrow and shadowy. Please put in real sheets in the beds, we sweated loads in the plastic silky ones! The landlord Mehmet was very friendly.

Apartment very close to small shops and metro a few stops the Golden Horn. Warm with lots of practical information very useful to start to discover Istanbul. More service for transportation from the airport is very convenient and inexpensive. The owner is always available in case of problems. short an excellent choice.

The apartments are just a few minutes away from the tramway to visit all the highligts. We stayed here in November 2011. Also the ferry to Kadikoy and prince's islands is only two stops further. (5 min.). Istiklalcadessy is also only 10 min. walk but to go there you have to climb a little. You can also take a taxi to go up. That's about 4 lira. The apartments are well equipped, microwave, large refrigerator, TV , internet and good beds. In the building there are four apartments, one in the basement, one with a lovely garden and two with balcony's and decorated with hanging baskets. Cleaning was good and Mehmet (the host) is a very nice person and when there is a problem, he will do everything to help you. He can also arrange the transfer from and to the airport for a reasonable price. We stayed there for two weeks and we were sorry to leave because we feld at home.

We enjoyed our stay in Istanbul. This certainly has helped our host Mehmet. He gave us valuable tips for exploring the city and prepared a map of the sights. Great thanks for that. The apartment met our needs. Unfortunately it was a little dark, but not much since we were in the apartment, it was not bad. The linen was for me unfortunately polyester, but this is a personal preference. Otherwise, everything was absolutely to our satisfaction. Specifically, the nice hospitality of Mehmet!

The Apartment is in the perfect location. Everything is within walking distance while the apartment itself is very quiet. Mehmet was a great host and gave us a helpful tour through the neighborhood, showing where good restaurants and interesting places are.

I had a good stay in the Harem Apartment. Mehmet is avery welcoming man. The apartment lies in a good location and everything is posible by walking. I liked the neighbourhood and as Mehmet is saying everybody is family there. Many children playing and easy to get contact with the people in the street. The apartment is very nice but not much light from the outside. If you want that take the onces upstairs. Thieme

The apartment is situated very central and close to Istiklal Caddesi and tramstop Tophane. The street may look like a backyard street but it is not. In fact the neighbourhood is very friendly and safe. However, beware that the street is a very small one and cannot be found by a taxi driver. So for the first arrival either book the taxi via Mehmet or print a very detailed map from google-maps (from Tophane tram stop - only about 200 meters). The apartment itself is well equiped and very quiet, although more for 3 than for 4 adults; 5 are possible but that requires flexibility.
