Magnificent 2 Bedroom Apartment close to Ponte Vecchio. (Al Ponte Vecchio)

The host was not Andrea (Is anyone an agency?) The apartment is large, a very large room with a double bed and two presonnes a place, a room with 1 bed 2 people . Large living room (with 2 sofa, 1 single bed), kitchen lacks some equipment (tiny coffee in Italian, and one capsule (not really practical, but it is hot water !). ideal location in a shopping street near the Pitti Palace. the first floor and VERY quiet. Florence is a beautiful city, the distances parcourrent walk easily. Nearby bein a busy supermarket, a bakery too short ... practice space of calm. We will return. Warning household expenses in addition to price.

The apartment was only 100 yards from the famed Ponte Vecchio, yet once inside We found a haven of quietness away from the bustle of the crowded Florence streets. The apartment itself was comfortable and well appointed, and, best of all, boasted enough space to swing not one, but several cats! The key holder was most helpful.

The apartment is nicely decorated and it's all there what you need. Have a snack and a bottle of wine and at cost. The location is brilliant. Only the ventilation for the whole house before the window obscures the overall picture somewhat. But it also goes well with earplugs and the sonorous sound is sometime even familiar ...

I spent new years with my group of friends and we were really good. The house is beautiful and very welcoming and we were welcomed with great hospitality. We were so pleased that we will have a little something for a next summer, as there is also a swimming pool!

Apartment well located, everything is accessible on foot, Florence really is a beautiful city and the people are very welcoming. Small flat on the housing itself is noisy (at the edge of a railway and especially heating / aircon so loud that it should be turned off at night). No advice about the city and the area as the dwelling is rented through an agency. Also take into account the mandatory cleaning fee of 40 € 3 € per day (heating / air conditioning) not included in the price

Our view of Florence turned out very nice inter alia through the apartment. The space is suitable for a couple and has all the necessary equipment. The location is not exactly the best if we are interested in walking through the historic center, but bus lines near the apartment in less than 10 minutes will take you to the center. The apartment does not have wifi which deducts points. Daily costs of water, energy and additional heating value of the rent and the cleaning fee seemed excessive and should be considered when comparing alternatives.

Pleasant studio a bit noisy because of the tram line going down this building that we did not prevent him from passing a great time. We appreciated the opportunity to park our bikes in the lobby of the apartment. We did not see Andrea but we had the opportunity to see his sympathy, availability by telephone.

We enjoyed our stay at this property but it is not for everyone. On the positive side this is definitely an authentic tuscan experience (as advertised). Stigliano is a tiny hamlet with true tuscan charm right down to the roosters crowing in the morning. It is perfectly located for spending a few days exploring tuscany. A car is mandatory. The apartment had tons of charm and was very spacious. The swimming pool was refreshing, well kept, private, and surrounded by the rolling hills. Unfortunately, we only got to use it once because of the rain. Speaking of the rain....we had a torrential downpour which revealed a roof that leaked. Perhaps the roof could handle a typical rain shower but we had to abandon one bedroom because of this problem. Also the drains in the bathroom showers were poor and we could not run the water very long or it risked overflowing the shower basin. The other aspect of some concern is the fact that the adjacent property which is only meters away is undergoing renovations. It did not disturb our stay as little to no work seemed to be going on at the time we were there but I would certainly explore this issue before making a booking. On a final note I would like to compliment our host Andrea. He was extremely helpful especially when we realized that our daughter had left her leather jacket in the closet of one of the rooms. He made extra special efforts to ensure that the jacket arrived in Rome by courier just prior to our departure. In summary, a well located property for a tour of tuscany, a charming farmhouse, a terrific host. I would recommend it to everyone except for those who prefer more modern and luxurious accommodations.
