The apartment is beautifully situated in the Vallon des Auffes, almost rural with fishing harbor, yet only a short bus ride away from the center of Marseilles or in the other direction from the beaches. Shops and restaurants within walking distance or just around the corner. The apartment lives up to the photos, it is very clever space saving furnishings, tasteful, modern, clean. Small lack of kitchen utensils like sharp knives and the like Rührlöffeln, otherwise everything abundant. It lies on the rocky slope and the alignment to the north, it is probably ideal in summer cool and shady in the autumn falls through the two skylights not too much daylight. The friendly and very helpful hosts live next door, resulting in the arrival and departure make very light and flexible.

A stylish apartment furnished and equipped to a high standard of quality and design that offers ample accommodation and has a spacious feel to it because of its top-lit loft-type construction, which has a mezzanine floor. Yet this seemingly modern flat is nestled into the cliff side of Vallon des Auffres, very close to the harbour and small sea facing bay of what is in fact an old fishing village tucked into the city of Marseille and not far from its centre. Vallon des Affres has some sought after restaurants and is a very pleasant place to be. The Corniche crosses the inlet on a viaduct and is accessible from the harbour by steps. A walk back up the hill takes you to local shops and cafés about ten minutes away.

Accommodation very modern and nice but lacks can be a window to the shower, which quickly becomes very humid despite the VMC. A very nice area but becomes very difficult to get to park in the evening up to 23H. Owners a little too close and sometimes fussy present.

Very nice apartment in a magnificent setting. The small port of Vallon des Auffes Rue, which is just steps away, invites to Verwilen. Tres joli.

Nice stay and just big enough for 4 people to stay. Crack Clean and modern. Air conditioning, internet access, all in perfect condition, also sufficient utensils, towels and sheets, even a washing machine! Very friendly landlords who live on the ground floor and are willing to answer all your questions. Perfect location in a city as busy as Marseille: Vallon des Auffes is a tourist attraction because it is cute fishing village, but if you can stay then you end up in a soothing relaxing place. Bus stop to the city and the beaches less than 5 minutes walk. With the bus you within less than 10 minutes in the center of Marseille and within fifteen minutes on the beaches of Prado. A must!

Absolutely gorgeous and modern furnished loft with a small terrace in Marseille. In terms of location, the apartment is just outside, but is beautifully and quietly at a small harbor with swimming. As the bus station "Vallon des Auffes" just 100 meters down stairs is reached, even day trips to the city center or to the port is not a problem. In the vicinity there are a number of great restaurants overlooking the sea, the invite to dinner (eg, Chez Jeannot), as well as a small supermarket called "Petit Casino" in the 400m-away "Corniche du president John F. Kennedy." Definitely the nicest apartments I've been booked on Wimdu and highly recommended!

This place is absolutely beautiful. It was immaculately kept and situated right at the edge of the water's, just as the name suggests. Both my husband and myself had a memorable stay at Marseilles and will highly recommend it to travelers, tourists and families who happen to be in this part of France.
