Description
The guest room is located in a three-room apartment. It is equipped for one person: wardrobe, single bed, desk, chair. If required, there is a mattrace that can be used for a second person. The second person must pay an additional price of 12 Euro.
The apartment is centrally located (5 minutes from the tram stop Zülpicher Platz and 5 minutes from the regional train station Köln-Süd). The main station can be reached from Zülpicher Platz by tram (line 9 = 2 stops to Neumarkt, from there line 16 or 18 to Köln Hauptbahnhof - also 2 stops) or alternatively from Barbarossaplatz (line 16 or 18) . The University of Cologne is two tram stops away from Zülpicher Platz. The main tourist attractions (such as the Cologne Cathedral, Philharmonic Hall, Roman-Germanic Museum, Museum Ludwig) are located around the central station (Köln Hauptbahnhof).
Finding a parking spot free of charge is rather difficult (from Monday to Saturday only at night from 23.00 till the following morning). There is also a car park nearby (17 Euro per day).
Note: There is a parking spot at the Zülpicher Wall (4 Euro/day); the Zülpicher Wall is situated a few blocks away from the flat.
