Upper East Side Apartment

It was very disappointing. The pictures on the site are not of the apartment where I was!! The entrance / hallway was filthy and the apartment was the impression that was moved. Everywhere were pieces, tables were not close. One could not look through the windows to the outside because they were so filthy, it was short, not cozy. The contact for the trip with Carolyn was good. Even if the worker. I could leave my bags went to the airport to ok. I thought it was strange that the worker with potential guests came to look at the apartment. Because I was home, I could let them inside. Had I not been there, was also unsolicited come in with strangers!!! Very odd. Furthermore, the bed was fine and the shower was optimal. The next time I will not go back here I think.

Quiet and convenient, located close to the metro (about 5 minutes). Too bad we did not have wifi throughout the week (our host told us to reboot the modem several times without success ...).

the apartment was actually ok, some road works, but easy access to the subway and Central Park. The apartment somewhat worn.

A very nice apartment to stay a week in New York, calm even if there is work for the metro in front. Spacious enough for 3 people thanks to comfortable bed and sofa. Owner available when we meet a serviable.A worries and his staff know the metro is 5 or 10 min walk. We recommend this apartment.

Are you a student? This accommodation is for you! It can sleep 4 or 5 if we add the sofa cushions on the floor. A double bed, a sofa and a place a mattress on the ground are at your disposal. The apartment is well insulated (meaning can not be the people in the apartment above, but that's all). Wifi available. It is only 6 stops to Times Square (metro 6 to take the 96th Street and 4th Avenue) but you can also take bus 96 (the 96th street) which will take you to the other side of Central Park (next west) where there is the metro 1-2-3. Overall, very happy with this apartment because we must not forget that we are mostly out to visit New York!

The location is really good cause you are in the upper east side,with a supermarket,bus stop,laundries and subway close to the building. The apartment is really nice,well furnished,well conditioned for the cold of the winter,with good internet. The main disadvantages are that its a bit expensive,even for being in the upper east cause you are in the 93rd.it's also very noisy because of the construction of the new subway line in the 2nd avenue, so you have to know this

As positive that the apartment is located in a good area, close to the subway. As a negative, the entrance hallway and stairs is old, dirty and estropedado, to me moved to another apartment in the same building, which was better than the photos, since at least the floor was not carpeted, it is dirtier. Anyway, at the end we have been good, because we wanted only to sleep and Manhattan is very expensive for the quality they have both hotels and apartments.

Nice apt. Fine location and close to the sub. Suited 4 persons very well, not more though. Very flexible considering arrival time and keys. The surroundings of the apt. were kind of a construction site at the time of our stay, but as long as you weren't at home at day time, it wasn't bothering much.

The appartment was small but nice, the location near the Central Park fantastic. Unluckely the stairway to the 4th floor was filthy and we had to share the appartment with realy big cockroaches in the bathroom. No internet was available in the appartment, therefore comunication with the host was difficult for us (we did not have telefone). To start with there had been some confusion about our booking but finely everything went smoothly.
