Practical Central Studio in Vienna

We had a great time. The apartment is very well placed to visit this beautiful city. It only lacks a microwave oven. Perfect home, impeccable instructions. Walter and Birgit are very friendly and very dedicated.

Location: vis a vis the subway station "Alserstraße" In 20 minutes you can walk into the city center - with "the public" irrelevant faster. Shopping for food, etc in 5 minutes walking distance. In addition, plenty of restaurants, bars etc apartment: quiet (relative to typical city traffic) and clean apartment with everything you need for a short holiday to be back

I stayed at Walter's Oct 08-15. I was quite satisfied with everything about the apartment. It was exactly as pictured in the website. A microwave in the kitchen would have been nice, but that is my only criticism. The apartment was very quiet in the main room. It couldn't be in a more ideal location. There are Würstel Stands on either side of the entrace to the building (including a Kebop available for € 2!), as well as a bakery. 3 grocery stores are within 5 minutes walking distance, and at the end of the street is the most excellent Caffee Latte, open 7 days a week from early to late, serving excellent food. Transportation? Directly across the street from the apartment is the Alser Straße stop for the Line 6 U-bahn, and at the corner is the #43 tram Between the two you have access to one of the finest city transit systems I've ever experienced. No where I wished to go was more than 15-20 minutes away. With the fine 7-day transit pass, the city is at your command. If this apartment is available the next time I travel to Wien, I shall book it with no hesitation! Thanks for a great stay!

I booked this trip for my parents who then competed all the way from Germany. Unfortunately, the two have enjoyed your stay do not live there. Starting with the non-existent promised parking (they are driven around for hours to find a parking space, and dared not thereafter to drive somewhere the car because they feared the same problem to have again) to small defects in the equipment ( I have seen in pictures) several ailing plates and cups and an unpleasant unkempt buildings. Also, they complained about odors from the ventilation shaft. After I Contacted the owner was assured that some "problem areas" have been addressed (for the window blinds for the curtains had been too small, what am disturbed sleep). Also I must mention fair to say that we as compensation was offered a free stay in another apartment. That's very nice, but we do not travel every day to Vienna and the offer can not perceive. Due to the friendly email contact I have long struggled with whether I should now pass the review of my parents really. I finally decided yet, just because a problem was very Severe yet:If I have a guest from abroad, then I sign as soon as possible to inquire about me if this gets along. It does not matter that my parents got the key from a neighbor, who then was no longer discoverable. But later someone would have to look after things. I was told my parents were reported to have you transferred them. That may be. But why no one has again demanded that the guests have arrived safely, if they have found the car park if they need a bit if they want a few insider tips to town ... just make sure everything is in order? As hosts we've also contact to its guests. A short distance from the apartment, my parents found a hotel where they had been for much cheaper and much more comfort even breakfast ... and more importantly ... a parking lot.

Everything was very nice. Kind and Helpful host. But not recommend for summer. Room was very hot and cannot open the window because of noise. But other seasons are no any problem.

we stayed at Vienna for 4 days: 4 wonderful delightful days. The appartment was clean, spacious, very well equipped. No ned to take towels, bedlinnen, it was al provided for.There was a coffee bar on the ground flour, and another one three houses below. We were right in the middle between St Stephansplatz and Schonbrunn, and 4 stops with the metro fron the Naschmarkt. On foot we reached Stephansplatz on 25 minutes sharp, while window shopping! The apartment is very nice match what you see in the picture. Walter was friendliest to all. The location is great because it is in front of the meter and in a few minutes by metro you can reach everything there is to see.

A very clean and well decorated apartment. Most fantastic transport links and very conveniently situated close to a few lovely restaurants, bars and an ice cream shop! Plenty of supermarkets near by and a bank/ATM making it a very easy place to stay. Incredibly comfortable bed!!! Lovely hosts, good no fuss system of getting/ returning keys. Will be coming back! :)

Nice modern apartment in an old building with Art Nouveau look. Unfortunately busy road causing windows to the front night could not open, but in the middle of busy city life, public transportation right outside the door and then you are within 10 minutes in the center! Windows behind peaceful courtyard where blackbirds whistling. Excellent beds, unfortunately somewhat synthetic bedding. Luxury kitchen, no food available so you have to buy everything first entry such as salt and pepper. Shops can be right around the corner. Downstairs is a nice Turkish bakery which is open day and night and has fresh bread! This makes you feel right at home in this neighborhood.
