YOUR ACCOMMODATION
• A sunny, spacious, modern, spotless clean and very comfortable double room with queen size bed
• Well furnished in a modern style, plenty of storage area, design table/chairs, lamps,...
• Parquet wooden floors and aluminum windows, recently repainted and redecorated (along with the rest of the apartment).
• Tons of daylight from a huge double window that opens to your own little balcony.
• Very quiet during the night cause it overlooks a peaceful pedestrian street with trees. A good sleep guaranteed!
• Quality cotton bed linens, duvets, pillows and towels provided.
• Free high speed Internet/WiFi.
• Peaceful, relaxed atmosphere throughout apartment.
• Efficient fans for summer and heaters for winter.
• A kit including a travel guide of Barcelona and tons of city, metro and bus maps and other useful information about the best spots to visit.

• A free assortment of teas & infusions /coffee/cocoa at your disposal so you can enjoy a coffee break or simple breakfast.
THE APARTMENT
A stunning fourth floor with lift, rebuilt a couple of years ago and just recently redecorated in a modern, relaxing style. The nature is very present as there are many plants all over the place that would make you feel like in an indoors garden. Lovely parquet wooden floors and very bright spaces as all the rooms (excepting for the bathroom) are exterior. Living-room with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the park, modern kitchen with ceramic hob, microwave, washing machine, bath with shower and great water pressure.. , Wi-fi internet, security front door.
LOCATION / THE NEIGHBORHOOD
La Barceloneta, the charming quartier by the sea and just next door to both the beach (literally a 5' walk) and the city center. This area which just a few decades ago was home to fishermen and sailors and nowadays puts together that old school genuine vibe along with a modern touch on a fantastic blend. Here you will be perfectly located for exploring Barcelona's classic old neighborhoods and landmarks: The beaches and harbour, El Born, La Rivera, the Gothic quartier, Las Ramblas, Plaza Cataluña, the great park of La Ciutadella.. Or a 5 minute walk will take you to many options of public transportation, in case you feel like getting to all the other marvels that this beautiful city has to offer.
My building is located in a sunny park with trees and a playground, in a beautiful and very central street just next door to the Barceloneta fresh market with its stalls overflowing with fresh produce, cheeses, and Spanish and Catalan specialties, and also a large supermarket with a wide selection of products at a very convenient price.
Just stone's throw from the apartment you can find the famous Baluard Bakery (one of the best in town) that sells delicious freshly made baguettes and artisan breads as well as a small selection of pastries and also any number of great shops, bars and restaurants from inexpensive to pricey.
Basically, and excellent place to be, with easy access to all the entertainment but where you can also relax and enjoy a good sleep cause our street stays nicely quiet during the night.

I'd be happy to let the room to adult and nice people, preferably light or non-smokers, tidy and respectful who can be confortable with cats (i've got 2 very friendly ones : ) Btw please note that the common areas are to be shared with me (female photographer, on my early 30's) and occasionally with the guest(s) who might be staying at the other room that i am offering at my apartment.
DEPOSIT: A security deposit of 100€ is required. To be paid in cash on arrival and be refund on departure if everything is in perfect condition.
☆ IMPORTANT: NO loud or untidy people, party animals or individuals who cant respect the house rules are allowed in the house. Sorry but it just wouldn't work. Also please note that the room is just suitable for ADULTS (exceptionally children over 12 can also be admitted if they travel with their parents, may this be your case please contact me prior to the booking so we can discuss all the details in advance)
