Amazing Apartment In New York

we were facing another apartment on the same avenue one week before our arrival and were very disappointed. There was no cover, only a slight duvet, sofa bed broken therefore a very uncomfortable bed V, a heating ultra noisy blow big "bam" in the night, not enough crockery for 4 people an apartment not very clean. the good thing is that you can leave your luggage in the office the day of departure and be 5 minutes from Times Square

The apartment is very well located, 10 minutes walk to Times Square, 5 minutes to the nearest metro station. The apartment is clean and well equipped, the 3rd floor (no lift) for the elderly or handicapped people, not appropriate.

in fact we were apartment 8347, I must immediately say that we were reimbursed for the return of the apartment because it was cheaper. 8347 apartment excellent location close enough to the center (Times Square) and the subway, very clean but very noisy, very small bathroom, entrance of the building rather not too clean and odor, with precise hand over the keys and also we have held suitcases at the office until 7 pm.

For a week of almost € 1250 I would have expected a slightly better-maintained accommodation. The location of the apartment to the main attractions is optimal.

We have trouble with the lock of the apartment and they didn't manage to fix it. We call the office and they told us they were sending the cleaning lady, I also sent an email without response. Everything else was really good. Great location, wifi, towels, clean apartment.

We first booked this place for 6 nights, but then we got an email from Casanova (it is actually an agency) saying that this place is no more available. The payment was done (but could be canceled) so they suggested other rooms at different locations (all were more expensive, and looking more or less the same) We had to pick another one for 20 dollars more per night. The difference had to be paid directly at the office (120). The check in had to be done at another place (the office). it is such a hassle if you have a lot of luggage and you don't take their service pick up at the airport to the office, and then to the apartment (and it costs more money to do this stop) At first, it all seemed (and actually was) complicated and suspicious. But as soon as we got the apartment 37th st. 400 West, everything went smooth and nice. It was spacious, clean, and equiped (and wifi). The Casanova people we met at the office were very cordial and specially the driver Chris who picked us up from the airport. In general I recommend it.

bit late in posting review as just resuming back on desk. well 1st of all many thanks for co-operating right from step 1 by helping me in finding a good apartment as per my desired location and witht the budget. also we arrived one day later but it was a misunderstanding on my part in calculating dates so had to pay for that day also but still i thank rapheal for holding the booking and handing me the keys when i arrived... abt the apartment. - (+) best location, its just by the heart of manhatten, very well maintained, AC's were not installed and drainage was also not proper which after was fixed immediately next day so really happy with the help the only (-) point was that there was no lift and no ventilation in the room so without aircon its very suffocating but on an all truely recommended for every1 who is looking to enjoi manhatten...surely will look forward in future with wimdu

We really enjoyed our stay, although we did not stay at the apartment we booked due to the hot water system not working we were upgraded to a larger apartment in a brilliant location. Our only complaint would be that the apartment wasn't cleaned before our arrival the floors were dirty and dusty, also there was dirt in the showers it was like there were tradesman there and no one had cleaned up after they had left. Aside from that the apartment was lovely and spacious. Dealing with the company was easy and all the employee's were very helpful and accommodating. I would be more than happy to book with Raphael again.

Hi, It was perfect to stay in a flat. We have stayed small hotels before, your own is better. Working with wimdu went very smooth. I have nothing to complain. Maybe the payment in advane? I know people who dare not sign and allow wimdu to take the money in advance. Maybe you should get more guests if you changed the payment procedure a little bit? Our flat in specific was quite OK. Location very good. Technical stuff worked OK. The beds were not maybe too young, but OK for a week. One thing was that there were not enough bed linen when we arrived, but after our request that was fixed. On the whole - everything was very good. I have already recommended wimdu to friends. It was a big well located apartment and for 5 women it was great to have two bathrooms. Fantastic view of the Empire State Building. None of us would describe it as "luxury" though as some parts were tired looking, particularly the bathrooms. There was no grill pan in the oven and no glass plate in the microwave and no kettle. There were no instructions for anything so the microwave was totally useless and on arrival it felt cold and we could not sort the heating to come on. It is close to a 6 lane high way and as there was no double glazing it was very noisy. We were asked to stand in the street while we waited for someone to come and meet us. At that stage what could we do. We had already collected the key which was a nuisance as we needed to keep the taxi waiting while I spent about 15 minutes filling in forms.Then the person meeting us at the apartment did not arrive for some time so we just went up to the apartment as by now we were all fed up. We paid $40 for arriving late so think this was a poor service really. When she did arrive she said she did not know this apartment, was only working for the company a short time therfore could not help us with anything. This type of service needs to be improved.
