Madrid Apartment near Retiro Park

The apartment is well, central and clean. The kitchen works perfectly, the bathroom is complete and the room also. Sheet sets and towels perfect, television, internet slow but I would recommend, not fancy but has what it takes.

The apartment was quite nice, but smelled funny and the door was broken. For hundred euro bond, or give it back in cash (with tip of fifteen euros to mind at all) or bank transfer (took a week just to return the money after much prodding). Entry day told us we could leave on Sunday after 3, Saturday sends me a sms and says we have to leave the hippest at 11, with each additional hour you stay is ten euros. We already had purchased food ... a disaster. I think there are much better apartments in Madrid and with a better, would not recommend.

My stay at this location was good, near the subway stair Menendez, and easily accessible. Its distribution is comfortable, the trouble is that the bed is very noisy and you hear everything the neighbors talking (has several supermarkets nearby, as Day, is a Lidl, Mercadona, etc ... Overall, I recommend the home, one must consider that they must change the bed and put an oven, for my taste lol. Good luck to the next tenant :) :) :)

The only good thing there is to say about the Apartment is that it was near the Metro-Station and pretty central in the City. No service in English, just crypic Explanation over the Phone from a Woman who also couldn't be understood. the Beds were awful to sleep on. When you woke up you had back problems the whole day. Also, NO TOILETPAPER. Very bad, never again.

Good and clean apartment near the center. Really among the locals. Pretty amazing. Metro Station (Menéndez the Pelayo) within walking distance. Shops, supermarket and fruit shop around the corner. Luggage Storage (late check-out) was possible at the central station. Would book this apartment again. Hans de Lang Tiel Netherlands

The only reason for not givin 5 ustars was that the outside lighting in the flat was dark I slept in quite a few days. Otherwise everything was as advertised. I would stay there again. And there are several bars nearby that are great - one being "Ruth's"!

The apartment overlooks a courtyard and not as nice as it looks in the photos, but has everything you need in terms of appliances, furniture, cleaning products, etc ...

Great location, around the corner from "Sol", the heart of Madrid. However, some observations (also shared with host Silvia): indoor apartment, not really an emergency exit. Beds a bit saggy, but we slept well. Three bathrooms, tiled and clean, toilet and sink fine. Small showers, bathrooms a boiler (or "fair" share the hot water :). Silvia spoken only by phone (very limited English), "employee" Miguel extremely kind and obliging, but understand a single word in English. It is also good to know that the € 150,00 deposit bank is repaid either in cash but will be € 15.00 deducted. All may sound a bit negative, but apartment was clean and as mentioned great location to explore the city! Restaurants, cafes, shops, museums, attractions all within walking distance and the metro around the corner. Value for Money Okay. Madrid is definitely a beautiful, friendly city, we have had wonderful days!! (Prick and then above trifles it)!

The truth is that the apartment leaves something to be desired, not enough blankets or sheets for all guests, from 10 beds are two mattresses on the floor and therefore very uncomfortable. A cistern not working. Despite putting free time for input and output, the owner was delayed 1 hour and not notice, had to call her and you need to pay the cash bond and the return is via bank (15e charge commission on return on hand). We called Saturday (our departure was Sunday) to tell us that we should leave the apratamento at 11h Sunday morning because he had other guests. Nevertheless, the location of the apartment is located right in the center of Madrid, and really for a weekend is economically affordable if traveling in a group.
