Large 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment near Central Park West 8248

Let me begin to say that the apartment is located in a lovely area in the upper west side of Manhattan. A very quiet area but still very close to Broadway and the metro stations (2 min walk) which takes you down to Times Square in ~10 minutes. The kitchen was SEVERELY understocked. There were hardly no glasses or cups, only 3 wine glasses and the kitchen knives were so terrible it was not even possible to slice an onion or tomato. In the end, the kitchen was superfluous because of the lack of tools to cook. The coffee maker was a $10 Black & Decker, which was totally useless. These things were a big let down for me, as I was looking forward to cook in an otherwise great kitchen. Apart from this, the apartment was very spacious with a lovely wooden floor and nice large bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms were a bit small, and the third was very large. The overall finish was good but the cleaning was a little bit sloppy, especially around details (e.g. taps, mirrors) in the bathroom. When you pay that much, you expect to at least be able to dine in the apartment.

We stayed in this spacious 3 bedroom apartment which was so convenient. The new kitchen is fabulous but does not take up much space in the big living room which includes 2 large sofas, dinning table for 6 and kitchen. The 3 bedrooms are more than adequate, in particular, the master bedroom which has an en-suite with separate bath and shower. The location is superb, close to Central Park at one end and Zabar's Deli at the other. Highly recommend this place for 7 people. 9 would be a tight squeeze.

From the start of the enquiry to the end the whole process went very smooth. All my emails and inquiries were answered very quickly; the check in process was very good even at 10pm at night! The apartment was very nice, specious and clean, with wooden floors throughout, in a very nice neighbourhood with great choice of restaurants and bars. There was a TV in each bedroom so no fighting over the remote control and the big plus was the free WI-FI!! Towels and linen was provided and the kitchen was fully stocked too. There were 6 of us and with 2 bathrooms there was no problem to get ready in the mornings. The checkout was stress free too. The whole experience I would rate 5* and would use the service again!! Mixed feelings. The keys are pretty well gone, the reception was cordial, but no more. This is a company that rents several apartments, as we expected it to be a particular. But that the limit is not very serious. The apartment itself is very well appointed, ideal for a couple, even if the level of cleanliness was not great. The apartment is okay for the price, especially considering its location near Times Square. BUT there is one big problem: the bathroom. Indeed a hot pipe (very hot) across the room and no one warned us against its dangers. In fact, my friend had the misfortune of touch with his thigh out of the shower and she was left with a huge second-degree burn. This injury spoil our holiday we had wade through New York to find treatments against severe burns (which are very expensive in the United States and are especially found almost) ... Not to mention the pain and inconvenience. It is a SHAME that pipe as dangerous is not protected. We encourage people who have children and would like to rent this apartment to be very careful about them ... As for us, we think about the follow-up to this case in view of the medical expenses that will be generated.

Booked 7 months in advance we had a problem of change by the owner who gave us, of course, an apartment in a better position but with an appropriate 2 sleeping 4 people and not the number that we have always been. The fourth bed was terrible, lepropriétaire tried to do something, but it's my son, living in new york that we pret a real mattress and linen .. if the apartment is perfect for two!

My wife and I spent 4 nights at an apartment at 104 W 83rd Street. The apartment was clean and generally well equipped. We had a few minor problems which hopefully will be rectified for future tenants. One of the slats was missing from the blind in the bathroom enabling anyone in a neighbouring apartment to see in. The wifi did not work. There is very little storage space in the apartment as the two cupboards / wardrobes were already stuffed full of equipment and spare bedding and the only drawers are two small ones in the bedside cabinet. This was OK for a short stay as we just lived out of our suitcases. The bed is a small 4 ft double so you need to get on well if you are sharing it!

Fine location. A lot of noice from the street, because of the windows When host is using a another Company to hand out the key -please write that is cost extra to check in on weekends. And at the same time nice if you don't have to wait about 45 minutes to get the key. Even if you have given information about when you will arrive.... Hints for the Apartment. Some light at the beds and maybe some hooks to hang your jacket on. When all this has been said - we had a ferfect and fanstastic week in NYC - great town. Regards Tina

Apartment nice, clean, functional, and very well located for access to the various subway lines. Only flaw, the second chamber of the apartment has been carried out in the main room with a partition that is not full height (and therefore not sound insulated), and this room has no blackout as in the master bedroom.

apartment clean ok but very noisy. Had power outage two days without electricity in kitchen + fridge and some stay before surgery. Home office very average.
