Luxury apartment in best location for an incredible price (BF 308)

Great stay in Salvador. Alain is a super responsive property manager. He was able to connect us with a local guide, too, and was happy to make a call in Portuguese on our behalf when we were trying to arrange a schooner trip. I highly recommend booking an apartment with him.

We are delighted with our stay in Salvador de Bahia and the Casa Redonda. This home is exceptional in its architecture, its comfort, its situation. Staff (Nana, Loana and Ericson) is remarkable. The Portuguese spoken is essential to communicate well. Itapua neighborhood is colorful and lively but Casa Redonda is in a quiet area. We loved it. The center (historic) Salvador is 30 km. We have accessed by bus (nearby) but it is long (1:30), followed by minibus (we were 10 ... including 6 children). Contacts, very cordial, with Alain, are made only by mail. We soon had all the information we wanted. Alain is very professional and friendly. No disappointment. Short holiday dreams, too short, which portend a second service as soon as possible ...

Centrally located, well maintained apartment in the historic center of Salvador. Despite its proximity to many restaurants, but a quiet place with great views of the Baia de Todos os Santos.

Alain, this is a HUUUGE thank you from everyone bitterly missing Itapua. We've come home to snow, can you believe it?! The villa really is more beautiful, more wonderful and more perfect than we could ever have expected. Please pass on our thanks to Nana one last time. She really was wonderful and went above and beyond when looking after us all. Anybody planning a trip to Salvador who wants to be close to the city with your own bit of on the beach heaven - this is where you need to stay! Ciao!

The apartment is highly recommended. Clean and comfortable. Very good and friendly contact with Alain. He helped me a lot. The additional cost of electricity, which I knew were well below the stated price. So all in all very good, and I shall be making vacation in Salvador, then safely back in an apartment by Alain.

Beautiful two storey appartment in a lovely central area, the northern part of the Pelourinho, though the kitchen is, oddly, very small if you're intending to cater for yourself. Fantastic view over the bay, a few yards from a small cable car to the 'lower city' (cost - 5 pence). We stood in the pool singing 'Sitting on the Dock of the Bay' as we watched the ships roll in. If you want beach, though, it's a twenty-thirty minute bus, (or probabaly fifteen minute taxi), and I'm not convinced Salvador warrants a full week on its own.
