#2 Private Mini Studio in Guesthouse, minutes to Manhattan!

We had a wonderful time at Heathers place. She also helped us with all our questions and concerns and gave us some good insider tips and tricks:) Always friendly and relaxed. The rooms were lovely, nice and clean. To sum it up: NO COMPLAINS AT ALL ! Thumbs up !

Nice & clean (and big!) room on the lower floor. Private bathroom, good wifi.

We had a good week in Brooklyn in the housing positioned on the line A and line C subway. Pleasant and comfortable accommodation except the sound side street. Good value for money. Stephen and Christine

We had a few nice days in NY, not least because of the nice accommodation in Brooklyn. Nice room, easy check-in and departure. We'll be back.

This was a terrible stay! It is extremely cheap but, not worth it. . . The private room's bathroom is not attached to the bedroom? The bedroom is next to the communal kitchen with two cats in it? The wall in between must be made of tracing paper!!! It is quite far from centre of New York so, we moved early. Didn't feel safe with my six year old son at all. I am sure the people who own it are lovely but, never met them but, that advert on Wimdu makes it look much nicer than it actually is. The ONLY saving grace is the bed is very comfortable!

Das Mini-Studio ist zweckmäßig und gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Bett ist bequem und die Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind frisch und sauber. Es ist ein altes Brownstone-Gebäude aber sehr sauber und ordentlich. Wir haben nichts vermisst. Es gibt viele wertvolle Empfehlungen von Heather in Mails, in ihrer Gäste-Broschüre oder der Info-Tafel im Flurbereich. Im persönlichen Gespräch sind Heather und ihr Mann aufgeschlossen und sehr sympathisch. Wir haben uns bei Heather sehr wohl gefühlt und wir empfehlen Alma Victoria Guesthouse wärmstens weiter. The mini-studio is functional and comfortable and nicely decorated. The bed is comfortable and the linens and towels are fresh and clean. It is an old brownstone building but very clean and tidy. We did not miss anything. There are many valuable recommendations by Heather in mails and in their guest booklet or the info panel in the corridor.. In personal conversation, Heather and her husband are open-minded and very sympathetic. We felt very comfortable with Heather and we will highly recommend Alma Victoria Guest House to all our friends.

Everything worked well. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The apartment is cozy and clean. The heater works properly - almost too hot. There is no 1A-area, but away from it all and more in real life than Manhattan. Shops and restaurants / coffee shops can be found around the corner. The metro is in walking distance and the Brooklyn Park in just ten minutes. Recommended!

Very nice place. Both Heather and her family was very friendly. We enjoyed to stay there and hope to come back another time.

Week stay. I have unfortunately not had the opportunity to see my friend Heather, but yes, he said she was very friendly and gives lots of advice. We received a gift for Christmas ;) Room # 6 very pretty. But the second bedroom door would not close! Therefore trust the roommates! We are not full, people all looked nice. Nickel bathroom earlier this week, horrible weekend ... Some do not know rinse the shower after passing ... But otherwise we were happy! Quiet.
