Gorgeous New York Style Bedrooms

We met a very nice family, caring who greeted us when we arrived at the apartment in Brooklyn. The area is very quiet and adequate housing, good location, 10 minutes walk to the subway and shopping. Thank you to Stephen who helped us start our journey well in the USA.

Warm and friendly people/owner, upcoming area in NYC, good connection to Manhatten as well to JFK via subway.

A very nice house you have everything you need. The flip-out sofa is not the most comfortable but there are two more bedrooms with a king size bed. The oven is not the fastest here need some patience. The decor is very cozy. The landlord is very helpful and also lives right around the corner. We made us feel quite comfortable with 4 people.

My opinion can not be given favorable conditions. Arrival day is announced Hurricane Sandy, I have not had the chosen apartment on the internet but one located in the basement. It was work, doors hanging off and it was not very clean. There is no closet or dresser in the room and we can not get our business suitcases. I only stayed two nights instead of one week because the metro closed due to flooding. Otherwise, the owners are lovely people and the welcome was very friendly.

On arrival the welcoming was very friendly. Stephen is a nice person. The appartment (I wouldn't call this a loft !!!) is big, quiet and for us not too far from the subway (a 10 min. walk). The neighbourhood is OK, you really live between the Americans, no tourists. Concerning the appartment: this should be upgraded, it's ready to rent, but if it was my appartment I would rent it a bit more upgraded. There is still some work to do...

Stephen and his wife want to make it to your liking. What struck me was that the apartment has been cleaned as soon as we evening aankwamen.Verder until we find the apartment not finished. There is a bar with 2 people to sit. Food is done with the board on your lap on the couch. Also we did not get what we booked the stay. Stephen has several apartments on the floors. To the nearest metro station is 20 minutes walk.

The owner, Steve, is a nice person but his apartment needs to be upgraded to meet higher living conditions.

Stephen has been a great host and was there to help us with any questions or problems we had. The apartment is really nice and we felt very comfortable staying there. The distance to the metrostation was a bit long.Besides that there are some good places to eat in the neighborhood. We enjoyed staying in this apartment.

+ nice place, 6 good beds, kitchen,main room in quiet neighbourhood 30 metro-minutes from Manhattan (we bought a 5 day day metro ticket for 29 USD) and 30 bicycle minutes (accross Brooklyn Bridge) we also rented bikes, which was great, because we could see all of Manhattan on bikes. Good host. Only proposed improvements for Stephen/appartment; a bit more kitchen quipment, repair one of the TV's. Maybe some of the taps and bowls could be updated a bit. We had an excellent stay. The apartment is very nice, large and well-equipped , and the district is lively with many stores and places to eat. The subway station is a 10 min walk from the house, and a 15-20 min ride from Manhattan. Stephen and his wife were very helpful and available.
