The family room, kitchen and master bedroom open to the gardens/pool/outdoors. The house is bright, spacious and comfortable, fully air conditioned, high speed internet and cable TV (about 150 channels), washer & dryer; all the amenities, comfortable & top quality beds w/fine linens, bath & pool/beach towels provided. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with high end appliances, TV, china, pots and pans & cooking utensils, coffee maker, Keurig espresso machine, microwave, etc.
There is an HDTV 60' flat screen in the family room, ceiling fans in every bedroom to monitor temperature additionally to the air conditioning, oak wood floors throughout except wool carpeting in the family room, the bathrooms are tiled, two indoor fireplaces.
The villa is very centrally located in Los Angeles and close to the 'L.A things to do': Universal Studios, Studio City, Hollywood, West Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive, drive to Santa Monica & Venice Beach by the Ocean on PCH (Pacific Coast Highway); the Malibu Lagoon State Beach is close by through the beautiful Malibu or Topanga Canyons; Calabasas a celebrity spot with its old town and historical 'Leonis Adobe' is a lot of fun.
The property has very easy access to the 2 main Los Angeles freeways, the 101 & 405.
House Description room by room:
There is a half bathroom conveniently located by the living spaces.
The family room with a double set of French doors that open up one entire side of the wall to the garden. The family room is very bright and spacious, comfortable with a 60' 3D HDTV w/ cable and prime channels, leather sofas, gas burning fireplace.
The living room is elegant and bright featuring a Yamaha baby grand piano, antique Chippendale dining room table & chairs, J.Stark 'phantom' chairs, and a sofa (bed with a real mattress) . There is a wood burning fireplace and a baby grand piano.
The kitchen features granite counters, a center cooking island with Viking cooking top range burners and a griddle, high end appliances, coffee maker, microwave,etc. There is a brick fireplace that has been refurbished with a wine cooler, and a TV. Windows galore & a skylight - separate breakfast area.
The master bedroom suite, with a full bath and large walk-in closet. There is a California King size bed, sofa beds ideal for children or teenagers, bedside tables w/lamps, an XVIII Century French Normandy armoire, a ceiling fan. The double French doors open to the pool/spa area.
The master bathroom has floor to ceiling Italian tiles, a 6' counter space with double vanity & Kohler sinks, a separate stall shower , a double size jets tub ideal for relaxation overlooking the yard & pool through a large bay window, a toilet.
The 2nd bedroom features a Queen size bed, a very comfortable sofa (bed also ideal for another person sleeping in that room), and many books available.
Mirrored doors closet reflects the space and the corner window light. There is a private entrance to the 2nd bathroom.
The 3RD bedroom features two twin beds (often reconfigured into a California King Size bed, with extra padding for extra comfort). There is a small sofa (bed, ideal for a child)... there is private entrance into the 2nd bathroom.
The 2nd bathroom is "Jack & Jill", meaning has private entrances from both the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms.
The 2nd bathroom is tiled floor to ceiling: bathtub with shower, toilet & sink.
This is an Ideal area for strolls or walking/jogging up the many hills around. The house is literally 2 short blocks from a grocery chain, Starbucks, dry cleaner , hairdressers, many shops and cool restaurants.
There is major shopping around including but not restricted to Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, high end designer boutiques & cool teenagers shops. Many celebrity spots around, theaters, shopping and restaurants. Target is walking distance, about 1/2 mile away, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods within 2 miles each, by street not freeway, and Costco is close by.
Besides the many cool restaurants, there are some of the best fast food walking distance to the property such as 'Subway', 'Sansai' (Japanese fast food), 'In & Out' (an L.A Institution, fresh food, not frozen), 'Whoopies' (healthy Mexican mainly tacos), 'El Pollo Loco' (mainly grilled chicken) . Also one of the best Sushi in L.A close by.
This is the perfect property for a family vacationing or for the business traveler -- The house is spacious, bright, comfortable, inviting and extremely clean. There is a super kitchen for those who like to cook, and super bathrooms for those who like pampering.
I live adjacent to the property which is very convenient to the guests when they need help. It is very private with a separate entrance and separate yard.

There is an additional fee: the traveler's insurance. For $69.00, it covers up to 43,000 in potential damages. At booking, I will give you the information for you to enroll or I will enroll you, and you will refund me $69.00 in cash, at check-in time.
Please note that there is no fence around the swimming pool. All guests, especially children, should know how to swim.
