Comfortable and Central Accomodation

The location is very central and easy to reach on foot the main museums / historic buildings / premises of Florence. The manager is very friendly. The place is very simple and devoid of any pomp.

Well but I did find directions to the place. The room was small but very central.

Comfortable accommodation, a few problems with WiFi but in general has kept expectations. Recommended for short stays.

The one star is for the location, right next to the river, short walk from Florence's main attractions. The bed had chewing gum stuck to the post. The walls were dirty. The bed was uncomfortable. The bathroom was a total nightmare, the sink was broken and didn't drain, the toilet was broken - flush would fall into the sistern and the seat wasn't attached, the shower was a slow trickle. As a host, Giovanni is cold and unwelcoming. I really would not recommend this place to anyone.

Only thing good about this place is the location, because it's next to the river and walking distance to most tourist sites. Host was unfriendly, offers little help in our visit. The worst part is the hygene. The blanket in the room is dirty, and the shower drain doesn't work. At night, there are bugs since it's facing courtyard. Reception is smoky and I wasn't not able to sleep the whole time I stayed there. Unless you are desperate for a place, I will not choose this place.

The outlook, as the photos show is unforgettable. At night, the illuminated cathedral and a festive part of the room. The host of Giovanni is a kind man Nevertheless, it was uncomfortable in the apartment and you feel a bit lost since. It is dirty and lacking: cold water in the shower and hot water in the kitchen, dish soap, toilet paper. The lamps are broken. There are 1 towel for 1 week. In the end it is so that you look forward to, if something works, such as toilet flushing, if you already clicked 3x. In spite of the view and the good location we would not book the apartment again.

Overall the experience was as advertised, however, be aware, the images are deceiving. The rooms are not as nice and are a little dirty. The kitchen and bathrooms are accurately portrayed. The owner is nice and accommodating - check-in/out times are flexible.

The app. is centrally located, has a beautiful view of the cathedral. We found it very unkempt.
