Brand New Stylish Brooklyn Loft!

The decor of the room and the cleanliness was first class, modern and bright. The staff were very helpful and we liked the idea that we could be dropped off at the nearest subway for no charge. The only downside was the noise of reversing vans which emitated from a warehouse nearby at 5.30am during the weekday mornings. The location was very handy for getting into Manhattan one stop on the 7 line. The view on the walk over the Pulanski bridge walking back to the hotel over the bridge was stunning.

A great hotel to Wohlfühlenmit very good service. Friendly and courteous staff. Two stops on the subway and you are at the Rockefeller Center. Who will want to run free with the hotel taxi to the subway station or picked up. Highly recommended!

For us it was the perfect base to visit New York. Big and clean rooms with manhattan view, perfect service especially the friendly boxhouse-taxidrivers, subway and eastriver-ferry nearby. We had great evenings in nearby lobster joint and great coocies in milk & coffee not to forget the brooklyn icecream-factory. Thanks to the whole boxhouse-team. Toni & Yannik from Munich.

It was a wonderful stay! Next time we come back. It is easy to man Had but can also originate in the trendy Williamsburg. Very neat loft, nice touch and good price / performance ratio!

Eight nights at Box House Hotel The Box House Hotel offers beautiful and stylish apartments in a former factory for windows. There is a good mixture between the original, old stock and good renovation. The equipment is great, from baking ovens to coffee to dishes all there is to not have to go out every day in NY expensive dining. And it is also quite pleasant will enjoy a scrumptious breakfast at "home" before plunging into the bustle of the city. The location is central and too out of the hustle and bustle. Short walk across the Pulaskibrücke to Long Iceland, while enjoying the great view of the skyline, and then through the subway under the East River to Manhattan. Vernon Blvd. by Grand Central Station is only one stop. In Greenpoint, there is everything you need to survive, small bars with "beer garden", supermarkets, restaurants, etc. Wäscherreien Actually a 100% recommendation if it not for the construction company would be next door. Of course we must in NY not be sensitive to noise, but under the Pulaskibrücke has a construction company shut their fleets and if the loader morning at 4:00 clock back and forth drives and reversing always PIIIEEP-PIIIEEP-PIIIEEP does, then you just awake sleep is then no longer possible. The windows were so well soundproofed that even the road noise of the nearby bridge did not bother, but just the loader. :-( (Box House Hotel offers nice, stylish apartments in an old factory for windows. It is a great mix between original and well renovated parts. The equipment is fantastic and offers all you need to have dinner at home. As dining out in N.Y. is not cheap, that will help you saving some money. And it is convenient to have a powerful breakfast before you dive into the city jungle for a whole day. The location in Greenpoint is perfect, only one station away from Grand Central and still remote from the hustle and bustle of down town N.Y. It is only a 10 minutes walk across Pulaski Bridge to Long Island with grate view on Manhattan skyline. Metro Vernon Blvd. to Grand Central is only one station. In Greenpoint you will find everything you need to survive: Pubs, Restaurants, Supermarket, Laundry, etc. Normally I would say 100% recommendation but there is the car park of a construction company placed under Pulaski Bridge. And despite the well insulated windows, you hear almost every morning the annoying PIIIEEP-PIIIEEP-PIIIEEP of a wheel loader, when it drives back and forth, loading the trucks. On day they started at 4:00AM :-((

Incredible apartment fully equipped! I had an excellent stay. The bed is very comfortable to sleep muyy well. Totally recommended. Go!

Our loft was very spacious and everything was there. It was good to come home every day. A few times we have something cooked (supermarket manhatten ave: also good brown bread. Well just look good. Near to the meat department). There is a nadeeltje to the apartment. The geboouw located in a quiet street, but on the side runs a bridge with a busy thoroughfare. Who can not sleep well at night bothered by the traffic. See if you can get a loft that has no terrace (located on that road) but a loft with a separate bedroom (located on the inside of the building).

the apartment was comfortable and visuellemnt entirely consistent with our expectations but we did not have a window that we had not been notified. In addition, three velux ceiling were but the blinds were down and it was impossible to open. The mechanism was broken. Nobody could fix it so that we had no outside light if it is a small light passing through the slits of the blinds. This has affected the quality of our room: it was not nice to stay in the apartment. We asked for a room change: there were many in this place but this was refused.

Loved the studio loft room. I was travelling alone in NYC and wanted to save costs by being out of the city. This hotel is perfectly located in a safe area - only 1 stop from Grand Central Station. Very clean, with tasteful, modern decor and quiet. Short 5 - 7 min walk to subway. Perfect for singles or couples travelling together.
